The Players had their suit fitting at Harvey Nicks today.

"Ooooh suits you Sir!" etc etc

What happened to Ciro Citterio?

Went the same way as Kensington Freak I assume.

I also assume Small Heath went to Suits Plus. Two suits for a ton.

Wasn't it a ton of suits for £2?

On Monday, think I will really, really start to get excited. I don't normally do looking forward to events too much in advance.

Starting to get excited too.
It will get worse when I put up a `We Will Be Closed On Saturday Notice` at work on Monday.
It will be in claret & blue and sign of with UTV.
That should upset my city supporting customers.

Since the semi final I have been going around saying "I don't care if we don't win it  I am delighted we are in the final" however today I want to WIN it and badly. By Monday  I will have stomach churning anxiety  and be a nervous wreck by Friday.  If escalators are not working my legs will feel hollow climbing up those steps to the upper tier on Saturday. I will utter nervous words whilst making weak gestures as I walk up to the seat. When I get there I will look around at the mass of Villains and feel so enormously proud, regain my composure and stand there with steely determination THIS CUP IS OURS ...OURS!
 I want this Cup  badly

I've been thinking about this game since June 20th 1959 for some reason the 2000 final passed me by.
Don't think I was this excited for anderlecht or Bayern Munich or any other big game possibly because as a kid in his 20s you thought it will come again and again.
Everything is laid out ready for the big day socks pants jeans t shirt scarf with 3 tickets on top for me and my son and daughter.its going to be just absolutely magical we turned up the volume for Olbion then a bit more for Liverpool now one last time for arsenal.
There might be 11 on the pitch but the 25,000 in the stands will be playing there part to

Come on villa give me your finest hour

I'm 42 years old , have 4 beautiful kids, I really shouldn't be so bothered, but this feels so important.... I cannot wait. Kids are all away this week. When they come home they will see their home in Leyland draped in claret and blue. We will then drive to london, I will be stressed but will get there in plenty of time, park at hotel , enjoy a few drinks with villa songs ringing, get in wembley as doors open and see fab lift the cup a few blocks away. Sunday will be spend in London wearing claret and blue proud as fuck.

I'm telling you if we can avoid defending like 10 yr old girls we can beat this arsenal team. Two options against them: a) men behind ball and break a la Sunderland, Swansea, Monaco or b) really press into them a la Man U.

I'm not sure we're suited to the first tho!
Just about to post something similar...Sunderland and Swansea have shown how to stop Arsenal winning by parking the bus with 11 men behind the ball and having luck on their side, and if they had better quality up front then they may have won on the counter. If we try and play like that then I think Arsenal will have a field day, so I'd go for closing them down, pressuring them and getting in their faces...they are dodgy at best at the back so the goals will come.
fuck that mate. Shit or bust! I'm travelling from aus for this- I just want to see us have a fucking go and put that 2000 nightmare to rest. Be gutted if we lose obviously, but not even thinking about anything other than a villa win. We have to get stuck in, run them ragged and force a result. No cagey bullshit- one off game against a side that's also been found out a few times this season. It's our year!

Exactly. I think TS made the mistake and learned at Man Utd that we don't have the players capable of sitting back and defending which is why he's had us playing on the front foot and going at teams. We also leak far too many late goals so I can only hope we are a few goals clear by the last 10 minutes.

I think that's right. But with our defensive injuries and players who've been out, that's making me nervous.

If we're leading going into the last ten minutes my nerves will only take it if we're up by at least 4.

Signed up for Bein Sports HD France. No commitment after the first month. €13 but only paid the pro rata charge of €6 as we are well into May. Can cancel on 1st June.

Game sorted! It's almost like getting a ticket for Wemberley.

I always assumed Small Heath players just wore their best suit that was normally only used for court appearances.
