you get a 'shirt for a tenner' voucher with home match tickets at the moment.

I think it applies to replica shirts only.

Really ? They didn't give me one with my ticket last Saturday, the feckers.

Presenting your match ticket should be enough to get the offer.

We just need a bug to sweep through the Arsenal team, like it did to us before the league game at Villa Park.
Didn't they have this v Spurs a year or two bag after some dodgy pizzas or cannelloni or one of those calzones

I thought it was the other way round and Spurzzz had food poisoning before the last game of the season. I think it was between them and another (possibly Arsenal) for 4th spot and the last Champion's League placing.

Nope.

Spurs came down with a bug in their final game against West Ham, which they went and lost meaning that Arsenal finished above them in fourth.

Although I think that had they won it they would still have only finished fifth, so it didn't make any difference.

Spurs finished 2 points behind Arsenal that season, so a win would have had them finish 4th.

Fair enough.

The rest of it is right though.

Didn't think I'd stand a chance of a ticket with my 6 game history ( on my reference)  but the ticket office actually let me book it the day before as they acknowledged the games id been to on husbands ref earlier in season, very good of them. So excited, hotel booked in Watford , can't wait !

They'd call the game off if that happened to the Arse.

Now I know where myself, PWS and Freddy are sitting/standing, does anyone have a link to the view from your seat? I'm sure I saw something on here a few days ago but cannot remember where. Or I might have been dreaming, like I was when we beat Liverpool 1-0 in the semi-final with a Gareth Barry goal.

Unfortunately, I don’t even have the comfort of my own home or local pub to watch the final, because post-game I have to see a mate’s record launch gig.

So I’m looking for “proper” pubs in the Shoreditch area. Not a chance.

Random interjection, but the Baring pub is a ten minute bus from Shoreditch (or twenty minute walk). Landlord is Villa and shows all the football, generally a great little pub. Watched the semi-final in there and the place went mental when Delph scored.

I watched the 6-1 Sunderland demolition in The Corner Shop. Not quite a 'proper' pub, but it had loads of screens and nobody batted an eyelid when I bounced around in my lime green away strip (I'd just finished five a side at the Powerleague next door).

Linky
not sure what your idea of a proper pub is small rodent? But if you can't find one near shoreditch then I doubt your ability to find one anywhere mate 😉 10 minute walk in any direction from the Nathan Barley zone will offer up a multitude of good pubs. Bring plenty money though.

I work with the Football Supporters Federation and they've just called with a ticket for me. In think I'm sat in the section they give to the 'football family' but I'd have watched it gaffa taped to the arch to be honest.

I can't wait. If anyone wants an ale before/after I'll happily buy you one.
