After a mini panic when it turned out Mike had 2 different booking refs & didn't seem to have enough games, this went unbelievably well! We got all our tix together in the same block as Jane & I got on day one of sales! I am actually shaking! Never expected such a great result in a million years - feels so worth the effort now!
Well done gal!
See you there!

Or at Southampton on Saturday?
Or at Burnley game?

UTV!

Enjoy your holiday Lou and do have some sympathy for those of us who are going to turn up in the Smoke on Friday night, struggle through the the night and most of the day that follows, make our way to Wembley on Saturday and have another night celebrating the cup win with mystified tourists in Soho😅
ha ha! I fly out from Aus on weds night. Scared about jet lag kicking in during the match!

Would certainly have been a concern if Lambert was still here!

How long have tickets been taking to arrive after ordering? Got mine online today, but need it to arrive in good time.
Mine finally arrived this morning. I ordered it last Tuesday. Others received theirs much quicker.

Ticket purchased - having two client references was causing me a nightmare, particularly as not all the games i've purchased a ticket for were showing on the reference I could see online!!

But ticket office were first class. I'm going!! Whoop Whoop!!

When I left Villa Park at8.45, the queue was not that long. I can also now see that it is pretty easy to get through online, with a few blocks available, even in the lower tier ( which must be frustrating for those who qualified in previous days & were told bottom tier was 'sold out' - they really had no choice but to go ahead and get top tier tickets as there was

I am still glad I went in person, and early, because I like to be as sure as I can be, and I couldn't have done it online due to the problem with Mr Amf having his 7 games across 2 different booking histories.

However - from accounts of yesterday, I would say it is far less busy today. I am now thinking there is a chance of some further criteria being announced later. Of course, the club may know exactly how many they were expecting today and already have predicted correctly, but I think there just may be some hope for those still hoping!

All Queensland Lions are depending on you now to shout yourself horse for the lads.  I'll be pulling an all-nighter with a bottle of Tanquary.

I too had challenges with duplicate booking ref numbers, but Daniel Walker at the Club sorted it just in time for me.
Tickets have been acquired, accommodation has been booked at a mate's gaff in Bethnal Green and I now need to work out where to meet with the Villa faithful on the day itself!

I hope the club will be treating the three remaining players from the 1957 final well. That is Nigel Sims,Jackie Sewell and the legendary Peter McParland. I would expect they and their families would be honoured guests of the club at Wembley.

That is a little frustrating but I'm with you.

Just got back from a 16 hour round trip from Cambridge to the ticket office. Was second in the queue when I arrived at 9pm. Kudos to Glenn who'd been there queueing on his own for two and half hours by then.

It was bloody cold last night and a sleeping bag on concrete is deeply uncomfortable but I've waited 47 years so far to see Villa win the cup. One rough night is a small price to pay for the chance to be there if we win it again.

Wow - it is incredible after all that to think you can probably log in now and get one! .....and i know you still won't regret it because you know you made sure, and you have what you needed!

I tried online yesterday to get a tkt on one of the lower blocks for £110 or £90 but none were available so purchased a £50 ticket in the upper tier as I thought that's all was left. Turns out today there are lower tier tickets available. Not complaining as I'm made up I've got my hands on one but it's a strange way of selling the tickets.
Does anyone have any idea if it will go past today? I have a mate who lives in London and has only been able to get to around 5 games. Do you think he'll have a hope of a tkt?

Streesfu times - I am eligibel today but effing system tells me I am not and wont allow me to book. Been trying all morning but cant get through on the phones - engaged.

Keep trying on the phones, should quieten at end of day; otherwise emergency : email to complaints may get seen quicker:
Give them all the info they ask for as per http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/CustomerCharter

Cheers purpletrousers, I never knew about that.

In the end my sister bailed out of work and went down for me. Surprisingly she said the woman who dealt with her was "snotty" but after much persistence and proof of my booking history she was able to grab me a ticket. Still no idea why the system was registering me as insufficient booking history but that is for another day.

Many thanks to murfee who offered to enquire on my behalf at the ticket office yesterday afternoon. Much appreciated sir.
