Tonight's result notwithstanding, Arsenal are going to sail into second place in the league having recently played the majestic, fluid football with which they're rightly synonymous. Given that their target each season is fourth, that's pretty good. It gives me the sense that they might just approach the final with an air of the spineless complacency with which they're also rightly synonymous.

Arsenal supporting friend to me last night: "Our problems start when we're the favourites for something"

I would agree with that purpletrousers (but it obviously causes a bigger queue)...I actually got through quicker on the phone starting from 9am than online starting from 8:45am. Respect to those that have been stood outside VP all night but online/phone seems to be the better option if you're able to do so...I arranged to work from home this morning and appreciate its not so easy to arrange for everyone. Good luck to everyone still trying to get tickets...hopefully see you all down at Wembley celebrating! :)

Been outside the ticket office since 9pm last night. Was 10th in the que and opened just after 8am. Tickets booked in less than 5 minutes. Looked liked no spaces left in the car park by 7.30am. Time for a bloody good sleep.
That's proper commitment...respect to you B36! Hope you have a fantastic day at Wembley! :)

Starting to get a bit excited now. It's still a long way off, but I've even had a couple of people here recently say to me, when they've discovered I'm Villa, 'they are in the cup final, aren't they?'

Come on you Villa boys!

Same here mate I was probably about 20th, I'm about to go for nap of the century - The ticket office opening an hour early made it all worth it ;)

No news from our leader for a couple of hours. Does anyone have eyes on Mr Woodhall ?

If he trying to flog the H&V compilation to people in the queue?

I bought that on Saturday. It was great to see H & V being sold on the street again.

I got tix for me & him online before he got to the front of the queue, so he's gone home to kip. We're in 529.

Yes I saw him hobbling off with a big smile on his face. He wasn't far behind me.

Sorted, two tickets at the front of Block 531, with sight lines to see Delph lift the cup. All thanks to my Brother, who got in the queue at 5:30 this morning... More than happy for him to remind me of that fact long into the future!

After it crashed around 6 times while trying to pay I finally got tickets. I was that shocked/excited I have no idea where we are sitting but who cares. UTV
