For those who have already received their tickets in the post - how long did it take to receive them after ordering?

Good article by Henry Winter today about the FA Cup, including this sentence: "The sight and sound of 30,000-plus Villa fans saluting the semi-final victory against Liverpool was a powerful advertisement of one of the club’s greatest strengths, their huge support."

I bought a couple of £50 tickets today from the club, they are in the top tier

I imagine they are the cheapest tickets going,
Was anyone up there for the semi, and what's the view and atmosphere like ?

In a dilemma about tomorrow. Do I take the morning off work to go to the ticket office or try phones and online. Could do with not using my hols but the thought of not getting through online or by phone is a bit concerning. Any idea how many tickets are left?
If it helps I don't recall reading on here of people having problems getting through online, I found it a doddle for both the semi and final. I do know people who have taken ages getting through on the phone though, and I'm sure there'll be some sort sort of queue at the Ticket Office itself.

Cheers for that. It's online for me tomorrow then.

I was in row 5 in block 544, despite being very far away from the actual pitch the view is good and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone behind the first few rows (as far as I could see at least) were stood up and singing the whole game. Felt quite similar to Newcastle or Sunderland away, if you happen to have been to those.

I was also worried it wouldn't be as good up there but it was brilliant.

Side note: buying mine tomorrow, was it only upper tier available to you?

Brilliant. We were towards the front of 549 for the semi and the atmosphere was great. Hopefully it wont be diluted by the higher number of neutrals with tickets for the final.

There is an online view from your seat thing for Wembley if you want an idea of what the actual view might be like for the seats you have bought.

Currently 8 upper blocks and 1 lower block being sold on with a mix of availability. I'm not clever enough to figure out how to post the picture form the official site. Maybe someone else could?

Anyone managed to 'upgrade' a kids code, buying an adult ticket with it? Is this allowed?

All tickets come through as full price.  Nothing to differentiate between adult and concession tickets.  Just buy on your kids code

Thanks for that fella's, sounds good

Chipsticks,
I could only get the £50 tickets on line, the bottom tier came up as not available to me, so instead of hanging on the phone hoping for the bottom tier I just went for it,
It's a final ticket at the end of the day
