funny how official coaches leave at 12 for the final
yet left at 8 for the semi
12 minus 8 = 4
kick off is 2 and a half hours later
and the roads will be busier than a sunday

I know the roads will be busier but we got there about 2 hours before the gates opened

when you say gates do you mean turnstiles
well providing there are no accidents or delays on the motorway
on that basis your coach should get to wembley at 5pm

Might be a way of preventing fans from getting so drunk before the final. I drove to the semi and standing in the concourse area before I kick off I've never actually seen so many pissed up people in all my life.

Thanks Amfy/Legion for the info on the Clay Oven bash. I texted the no. on the ticket, got a call back right away and was given directions how to pay my £10 via PayPal, which I've done & am informed the ticket will be on its way to me this week.
Like a well oiled machine!
Thanks again

There's a song about it and the state we will be in when we run round the Bull Ring with the Cup - for all the imbibing I thought the atmosphere was very mellow - only problem was on the train back when there was an altercation about someone's Mother being possible morally loose...

I'd rather be sober enough to enjoy and remember every second of what might be our greatest day since 1982, but whatever floats your boat.

Which is why I intend staying sober till I get back to Birmingham on the evening of May 30th. The FA Cup is the one I've been waiting for all my life.

I had 2 drinks before the semi , a Smirnoff ice then a £4.95 330ml Bud inside wembley. That was purely to settle the nerves. Will do same for the final.
No way would I get pissed to a level you can't remember the game / occasion.

Don't Arsenal get that place as the East side? Liverpool got it for the semi.

Singing "Abide with me " pre kick off is going to be very emotional. Will be looking at the sky for all those I know who will be looking on wishing the boys well.

Oh right , someone posted earlier that it was going to be Villa only. I will give them a ring I think.
