A woman at work who supports Villa asked me today if I was going to the final. I said I have to wait until Tuesday when I fit the criteria. She took great delight in telling me that she's got two tickets for herself and her husband through Devon FA. I know she hasn't been to any games this season and I don't think she did last season either.

It really boils my piss that so many tickets go to people like that but each club only gets 25000 tickets each.

Phoned Villa Park today, they told me that they weren't doing anything for the final. So where should the ticketless watch the game?

Why would Aston Villa staff the stadium when the club are at the FA Cup final?

Same reason Arsenal are staffing the Emirates and hoping to get 40K in.

I agree to a point but Club Wembley is main reason we get so few tickets...
The 'football family' have always been looked after by the FA.

Hi can anyone clarify this. I have a 9+ booking history, including two away games (booked through villa). Do away games count? I assumed they would but a few people have said otherwise?
Surely if they didn't it would be specified? But it just says booking history?

There was no Chelsea final. I have airbrushed it from my memory.

Wish I could, it was a painful 6,000 mile round trip for me to watch a non event.

I've got enough of a booking history for my eldest son to (hopefully) get a ticket for him on Monday morning.

Anyone got any idea if it would be quicker to buy on-line or get to the ticket office early & queue? Have there been queues for the ticket office to open?
