I can't help it but I always chuckle when the big fights end after a couple of minutes and think of the folks who spent thousands to watch it.

Rarely over that quick

I went to see Tyson fight in Altantic City in 1990 and it was literally over before I got to my seat.

My memories of golf tournaments involve a horrendous headache, a wasp sting that left a lump in the back of my neck and a trip to hospital, I hate golf. My favourite memory is for some reason deciding I was going to get the autograph of a golfer called Neil Coles as many times as possible at a poxy tournament I was dragged along to. Think my folks got the message that day. Ten I think it was in the end.

The FA Cup final this year is way bigger than the Word Cup final.

That's why there's such a scrabble for tickets

Possibly the biggest football match ever in this world!

Oh I saw that heavenly creature earlier as I am home today. She had a remarkable summer dress almost on!

Kids aren't allowed at boxing

Which, even if it were true, has exactly what to do with the price of fish?
They aren't  at professional registered cards.

I must have imagined the ones I've seen then.
Things have moved on a tad since you were a kid   ;)
