My club Wembley contact has just sent me a text. Prices are £379 - £1499, but they are not yet up for sale
How does that work than Paul?  What does being a member entitle you? Do these Club Wembley members have a seat to sell?

I am pretty sure that Club Members have bought a seat for every event @ Wembley i.e all the Footy games, NFL. Concerts, etc and then its up to them if they want to attend or resell their seat........

When the NFL games started I bought tickets through a CW member. The tickets were not included in the amount they paid but they did have first option on buying their seat for the NFL games (basically the same system as cup games at VP).

Don't know if its already been mentioned, but if we win we will be the first club to win the trophy across 3 centuries. The 19th (1800s), 20th (1900s)  and 21st (2000s).

Although the likes of Blackburn, Wolves, West Brom and Preston can also beat us to that record if we don't get there first. Not that I'd expect any of them to do it anytime soon.

Aftab, my understanding is that the hefty fee for Club Wembley membership entitles you to attend all ( or maybe just football) events at the stadium for the duration of your membership - in a designated seat. If you choose not to attend you can sell your seats via club Wembley ( who charge 15% mark up) in a basic online auction type scenario. Apparently prices here tend to vary, but the cheaper ones go quickly as club Wembley seats all offer a decent view.

When we played Manure in the final in 2010 I got my ticket off a tout ten mins before kick off. The seat was club wembley and from memory it cost around £150.
I was sitting next to an arsenal fan and his young son who supported Chelsea (??). They were telling me they can come to every game they want to and would sell the tickets on when they didn't fancy it.

I know grass roots football survives pretty much because of the thankless work that many volunteers do but does that mean that tickets should be handed out to them?

It's our clubs end of season tournament in May, my other half has put a lot of hours in helping set everything up and working it in all weathers in the past with little or no thanks, she's being badgered to help again this year despite being snowed under with work and her having to spend a lot of time visiting her mum in hospital. I might offer to stand in if they can tell me what is happening to any tickets the club receives.

And I thought philanthropy was dead

Philanthropy? I bet Woofles has a couple of their albums.

I'm fucked right off that the majority of seats at the Cup Final will be taken by people who don't support either club. Well, in theory they will. Of course we all know that piles of these tickets will end up in the hands of genuine supporters who've had to pay through the nose via some twat of a tout to see their own club play one of the most important games in their history. Absolutely fucking-well stinks. If this were FIFA we'd all be calling for a change in policy. No doubt whoever is in next year's final will be saying the same. And the one after.
Tickets don't get handed out to grassroots clubs as such. Clubs have to apply to their County FA early season to BUY two at face value, and those applications go into a ballot as only so many are set aside for this level. You don't get asked if you want to apply, it's tucked away in the County FA rules that you can - for those that bother to read them. I would bet that the vast majority of clubs either aren't aware they can apply or choose not to as it can be another ball ache for the club secretary in terms of who gets them (i.e. either no-one wants them or everyone wants them). Clubs used to also be able to apply for England-Scotland tickets when that was a regular fixture, which is one of the reasons so many Scots always turned up at Wembley - they were more popular than cup final tickets.

Clubs found selling on those tickets are barred from applying again - so if you buy a ticket off a tout let the FA know the ticket number and they will trace who it was issued to. As is the way though they'd probably stamp down on your local junior club over it but ignore it if it came from a sponsor.

The only games grassroots clubs get given any tickets for are women's internationals, U21 games and the occasional full England game where a low crowd is expected.

Coming over from Oman for this, been in the Middle East for the last 9 years and apart from Sunderland at home this season, which my daughter bought for a Christmas present no booking history, so will be on the look out for tickets by fair or foul means.
Were there alot of touts knocking about on Sunday also would someone pm me the sites these Club Tickets can be bought, if I can get one for 500, would pay that as I am 55 and with my lifestyle if its another 15 years before the next one, I will be watching as a Holte Ender in the Sky.

I didn't see any touts on Sunday

I saw two and they were both Scouse

I think VP is also the only ground that has hosted international Football across 3 centuries as well, if these two statistics bear fruit, then it`s true what we thought all along - we genuinley are claret-and-blue-blooded-Footballing aris-fuckin-stocracy!!!!!!

It's £50,000 for 10 years, which will end in a couple of years, Wembley are shitting it as they don't feel they'll get anything like the interest for the next 10 years.
