120 quid's a bit steep isn't it? Still, when you break it down since our last win it's only just above 2 quid a year. Bargain.

an even better bargain is paying 2 quid a week for 30 weeks to get a £60 seat

Well, I'm only 44 so I object to paying £2 a year for the period 1957-1970. £90 seats it is, then.

Absolutely no way I'll be able to get a ticket. I'm in the position of just hoping some random contact gets one and gives it to me.

If I get a ticket, you can have it...somewhat unlikely though since I've not been to a game since 2003 :(

My missus just reminded me we're in Cornwall that week......should have seen her face when I told her we need to re-arrange it.

Went down well did it?

Hi Stu,

She told me this morning I was so pissed when I got in she had to wake me up in the shower.

I know people have different budgets but if I can get a ticket for Villa for a FA Cup final and we win it, my god £120 would be peanuts.

Just been on SSN that the FA Cup Final ticket allocations haven't been determined yet and they will be meeting with both clubs this week before announcing club and corporate allocations. More details announced later this week.

I stand corrected! Any Villa fans doing the Sutton Coldfield Fun Run the following day are going to record Personal Worsts!

I was hoping for a PB this year! Thats going right out the window....if I turn up for it I suppose it will do a job of curing the hangover and this isnt the sort of problem I have issue with, being that we are there.

As a side, how delightful it is posting on a thread entitled FA Cup Final.

Is the f.a. Cup not classed as one of the Crown Jewels so must be on normal TV

Only once in the last God knows how long would going on holiday on the 20th of May have resulted in me missing the final.

Signed

Son of Legion.

Have a good holiday, Can I have your ticket?

I'm going to be in Peru, celebrating a tenth wedding anniversary. Our wedding day was chosen because the season is always done by the end of May.
There is nobody at the FA I don't hate right now.

Got home at 11:30 last night so it's going to be at least 01:30 in the morning for a 5 pm kick off. Given it's a Sunday the following day - what's the rush back? How easy would it be to get a room?

Well, the IBIS is full (good bar yesterday BTW) but the Holiday Inn and the Hilton Hotel across the road to Wembley have rooms available. Now I know that £199 (Holiday Inn) and £275 (Hilton) for the cheapest is a lot of cash, they clearly bump the price up for Final and who can blame them.

However, if you have Hilton Honours Points it's still only 50,000 points for the night - which is a proper, proper bargain. I reckon they forgotten to update the website. If you have HH Points, I would get in quick.

TGI's after the game and fall into a drunken sleep upstairs. Sunday eating breakfast looking out over Wembley, reflecting on only 3rd FA Cup Final Aston Villa have played in the last 58 years (is that correct?)

Happy Days.
