I didn't post last night as I was pretty wasted, by god it feels fantastic. I actually got so worked up in last few minutes I thought I was going to faint.

I'm going to be smiling for quite some time, I'm trying to get my Little un to say Villa he isn't having any of it at the minute but I will persavere.

I could hardy watch the last five minutes, it was torture. The atmosphere was incredible. Blimey, we bloody played well.
I wa doing the same from 80 on but completely switched over to "why should they equalise" from 85 onwards and felt quite relaxed for the next 9 minutes.

Absolutley brilliant day, the support was superb (inside and outside the stadium), and the players made us proud

Bad decision coming to work today, bad hangover and ache all over! it must be an age thing

I was in row 7 of block 130 (M) just wanted to apologise to the 2 guys in front of me, who I nearly deafened!, and I hope the little lad who was with his Dad behind me had a day he will remember for a long time to come.

Just hope that we get the couple of wins that ensure survival quickly and then we can put on a similar performance in the Final....i just have a feeling that this is our year for Cup glory, seen us win everything else it would be the complete set with us lifting the cup.

But the great thing about all of this is that Slowly but surely - we are getting our VILLA BACK!

VILLA ARE BACK.

Best performance in years and an atmosphere to match. After all that we have had to endure over the last few years it was great to reconnect with the real Villa spirit again.

Want to add my best wishes to Fin Feds Dad's mom. What made yesterday even more special for me yesterday was that it was spent with my sons, brother and nephews who had supported me through my own chemo therapy.

Well, what a day! Yesterday is something I will truly never forget. Everybody was magnificent, players, fans and the club for organising the mosaic and messages in the changing rooms.

We played a blinder and you just got the feeling in and around the ground that together we would get it done.

Marvelous.

Just watched the game again and every time i see our goals they look better and better. Delph's skill and power in the build up to the first and Benteke's superb back heel for the second. Absolutely bloody brilliant, Villa.
It's our year!

Not so "slowly" Sid. The transformation has been little short if miraculous when you think how we played at the Emirates a few short weeks ago.
