Fantastic from Okore on Instagram, seen I've been following Villa (2005/06 when I was 10) I've never seen them have a team spirit like they do at the moment.

Apparently Liverpool are the proud owners of the second most expensive defence in the world (after Paris St Germain).

Clearly money well spent.

Not been back long after nearly an hour train delay just outside Solihull on the way home.  What a day though and a terrific performance.  Fans and players alike, I just think we wanted it more than them today and it showed.  There were some very good performances, but I thought the midfield of Westwood, Cleverley, Delph and Grealish were superb and were the real driving force behind the win.

Wonderful day & a great performance from every single player. Special mentions to Cleverley, Westwood & Bacuna. Young Jack arrived on the big stage today but Delph was simply phenomenal.

Tim Sherwood - thanks for giving us our pride back.

Aston Villa & the FA cup go hand in hand, it's been far far too long since we won it. If they club / players didn't realise it before they do after the West Brom game & again today.

Good luck with everything FFD. Hope all works out well for your family.

Also a word for the Chairman who didn't attend because of death in his famil. I'm sure the result would have made him smile on what was otherwise a difficult day.

The substitutions didn't work out at the end but when you think of our injury problems, players playing out of position and where we were as a club just a few weeks ago this must be one of the greatest turn arounds in football history.
Grealish will be an England player, never seen a player of his age have such close control and vision but what struck me most of all wasn't any individual player it was how close as a team they are, the looks on their faces was something to behold, i don't know what Sherwood has said to the players or how they are coached but that was the most complete performance by a Villa side i have seen in years, lets make ourelves safe, look forward to the final and dream about what next season may bring.

Just got back (we celebrated with a few ales after the game). Fantastic result, we really played fucking well. Benteke is going to a massive loss when he goes, he was absolutely immense today. Grealish, Delph and Cleverley were other stand outs.
