like Lawrenson said this morning on the tv, if we attack them from the off that might suit Liverpool seeing as they have no out and out striker., they will try and hit us on break. Please god let us get a decent refereeing performance today.

Nope, their subs: Jones, Johnson, Toure, Lambert, Manquillo, Borini, Balotelli.

BT going Liverpool heavy as expected. With added Savage for balance. Balance even further way from Villa that is.

Other than Coutinho they're very ordinary and nothing to be feared.
They must be hoping Sterling has his one game in 20 where he's unplayable as opposed to all fart and no shit.

Interesting tactical battle today

Looks like 352 v 433. Sherwood hasn't been afraid to chop and change shapes between games but hasn't tended to do it during games. Rodgers loves a bit of that. I could see that being important today.

Also vital we get men up to support benteke. Both the wide men and Delph / cleverley. Hoping nzogbia and grealish can isolate can and lovren and benteke can pull wider onto them too

I hope the wingers stay wider than perhaps was initially planned, because we could really hammer them in 2-on-1 situations if our fullbacks get forward.

Decent lineup I think. Zogbia will hopefully have a good game today. I'm glad to see Grealish has retained his place too. I hope he can overshadow Sterling.

It will be interesting how their 3 mark 1. I think their side was based on us having Sinclair come in for Gabby. Sherwood has pulled a sneaky with Nzogbia I think. Hope he repays the fate.
