I see early goals.

This was the tagline for the much less successful sequel to "The Sixth Sense."

They have overall more quality in midfield. And more attacking options.
Their midfield will probably be Allen - Lucas - Henderson. It's not a bad midfield, but I don't see why Delph and Cleverley shouldn't have the measure of it.

And they might have more attacking options, but they don't have anybody as good as Benteke, and Gabby seems to save his good games for Sunderland and Liverpool. They have more cause to be worried about our attack than we do about theirs.

Given is still my main concern. I see a lot of free-kicks and corners being swung in to their central defenders.

It's who partners Delph and cleverley that is the problem surely. Richardson, okore, Grealish or perhaps nobody

Plus gabby might not be fit

If we can get one of two genuinely match fit it would make such a difference

I think we could go 3-5-2 for this one with Baker-Vlaar-Okore at the back and Richardson and Bacuna as 2 wing backs.

It would easily become 5-3-2 when were under pressure.

Fortunately I can't remember the Liverpool side of the 70s and 80s winning everything.

I do remember them going 1-0 and constantly passing back to Grobbelar. Notable that they've never won the league since the pass-back rule was invented.

I really hope the sycophantic press get their wish and Stevie G plays as I think our fast and direct style will bypass him and he'll look like he's wearing lead boots in a sea of treacle :)

I think we'll win as long as Richardson isn't isolated at left back.

Had a bet on Villa to win it during the extra time period, 18-1.

I don't think we'll score that many goals!

Probably not, but no going back now  ;)

Just seen that Chris Woakes is going to be at Wembley on Sun, top man: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/32338393

On a given day, I'd pick Delph and any 2 of their 3 ahead of any of the rest of ours. If we play with 2 v their 3 it would be suicidal.

Likewise they have Coutinho, Sturridge and Sterling. Again I'd have Benteke ahead of those 3 but I'd pick any 2 of those 3 ahead of the rest of ours.
