I really hope Gabby can get fit for this one. Some of his best games of recent times have been against this lot at Anfield.

The crucial win last weekend sets us up perfectly for this one and all the pressure is on them as I don't see them getting top four now so their season is fucked if they go out here.  We have nothing to lose so have a good chance of turning another poor season into at least a memerable one with a Cup Final to look forward.

Realistically I think they will win, but at least with Sherwood I can see us giving it a bit of a go.  Which ever way it goes lets just do ourselves justice :)

I too honestly think that if their "better" players turn up then they should win. The most important thing to me is we all travel down there knowing our Manager will have them fired up, motivated and ready to have a proper go at them. After that what will be will be on the day

Really getting excited now

If anyone's interested (I am based on what to wear coat wise for Sunday - dislike being too hot), the weather forecast for London on Sunday is 14C, and dry but not sunny. I don't do ages in advance excitement but starting to now.

Can anyone recommend anywhere to park? Happy to get the tube in to Wembley but really need to drive, early start the next day and all that.

Uxbridge if you're going on the M40. Stanmore if you're going on the M1.

I prefer Uxbridge as there's some nice pubs there too. Both offer a direct tube to Wembley Park.

I'm going to Uxbridge, half an hour on the tube to Wembley.

I'm not going to make a prediction.  All I will say is that with your usual vocal backing and 110 per cent effort from each and every one of the players I am sure we will get the right result.

That is all.

Enjoy Wembley - I'll be watching from a pub in Singapore.

I see Sunny Spells on BBC

Villa tee-shirt with fleece top and showerproof jacket in reserve carrier bag (from Villa Shop of course) all set off with a large claret and blue chequered flag should do it...

Benteke seems to have regained his taste for destroying defenders so a cheeky little 10-0 to the Villa.

Rumours that Clark will miss the rest of the season. Hope it's not true.

That'd be a shame. I've been amongst his biggest critics, but he's been very good this season.

Statistically, the second most dangerous job in the world is lumberjack. The first is playing in Aston Villa's defence.

I see Sunday as a day for layering as its looking like one of those typical spring hot/cold type day.

If Clark is out I'd go with Okore for his pace.

It's likely to be a straight forward change of one left footer for another. Vlaar and Baker didn't do much wrong against Spurs either. It's unfortunate for Okore as he's done nothing wrong but he may be part of a first choice pairing next season and will be a year more experienced.
