Grand National tips 2015
« on: April 10, 2015, 01:17:18 PM »
If you have a tip for the Grand National please put it on this thread, if you want to post about how nasty and cruel horse racing is for the horses etc. go and post on some animal friendly site. :)

My E/W Tips are: Balthazar King and Soll.

If horse racing was banned, then all the horses would get killed. That's nasty.

Anyway, Shergar E/W. Shock return.

Cruel? These horses get treated better than a lot of people in this world. Balthazar King on the nose.

I know they do, but every time I open a thread about a major horse race or meeting someone always bleats on about horses dying or being injured.

If your neighbour was whipping his dog,  would you call the RSPCA or a bookie?

Depends what odds the bookie was offering.

First time I've ever bet on the Grand National. Had £1 e/w on Tranquil Sea (100-1), Rubi Light (66-1) and Royale Night (28-1). £6 wasted! Added Across the Bay (33-1) to the above for £1 (e/w). Might go for Many Clouds (£1 e/w) tomorrow as it is trained by Sherwood. Silly sod that I am. Another £2 down the drain. £10 in all.

I've got 25-1 on five horses getting killed, fingers crossed. Can't wait, I don't give a flying fuck about horse racing for 364 days and 23 hours of the year but the excitement of seeing loads of horses falling and, with luck, a few dying, always does it for me. Tradition innit. All those pissed up scouse slappers at Aintree too. And the horses love it because I've spoken to them.
