I know it isn't applicable to everyone but the family option at £725 is very good value.

For crap seats if its the same family area of 10 years ago

they could afford to half the prices, the revenue they get from tickets will be a minor part of turnover from next season onwards.

Of course they will trot out the line that they are good prices compared with the competition. But that is a crap argument. They aren't in competition with anyone for my business. Its not like I'm going to watch the Baggies if they are a bit cheaper. Most adults have already decided their allegiance. So the only fans that they have any competition for are kids, a relatively small number of new adult fans and corporate.

If they price the tickets cheaply then parents will bring their kids along and also really push the school scheme. Otherwise kids will support the successful clubs and those they see on tv the most.

I think the club have scored a real own goal with these prices, they could have made a real statement to the fans and set a great example for English footy

Its probably the best we could have expected, I think we all know where most of the increased TV money is going to end up. The local Ferrari dealership,

Yep, with the reduced Villa Cash they've put the prices up.
Only if you spend in the shop that is ?

Villa Cash can also be used against home Cup tickets and additional hone League tickets

On the up side, if they manage the Villa Cash spend as badly as they did mine I'll be more than happy. My son came over to the UK over Christmas and as usual we took in the seasonal home fixtures. I paid for the tickets using £54 of my Villa cash and my credit card for the balance. They added a %age to my Villa Cash for the cost of the tickets, but it looks like they forgot to debit my Villa Cash for the tickets themselves as I've now got over £60 Villa Cash, which I'll put towards next season's ST.

Of course we could - then complain that turnover was down.

I guess the acid test is if we sell out of season tickets they are priced correctly, if not then they are too expensive. Do you think we will sell out of season tickets? or come anywhere near it?

By that logic they have been too expensive for as long as we've done season tickets. I actually have no idea when we first started issuing season tickets.

Best part of a million a game i'd have thought. If you go 30K+ and an average of say £30 a head. Obviously a lot less than the TV deal, but not to be sniffed at either.
