Postman delivered the one I was witting for this morning. As others have said it was an adult ticket for a junior. I think they are all printed as adult tickets but Villa charge depending if buyer is child or OAP etc.

...I know when I was 11 I'd have stared at it for hours and slept with it under my pillow.

I stared at mine for hours last night and slept with it on the bedside table. I'm 40.
Hope yours gets to you soon.

Ours are on the notice board in the kitchen displayed with the train tickets
The Villa shop bag, 5' flag and pub guide are on the dining table ready to take my Wembley Survival Kit

It's not sad - we are taking pleasure in one of Life's positive moments - enjoy!

I've got mine today.............well when I say I've got them
My son ..16years old- last year at school
Finished school at 3.00 pm
got the train into town...we live in that deepest bluenose territory otherwise known as Solihull
then  train to aston
queued up
bought two tickets using mine and his reference using his money
presented 2 tickets to me when I got in tonight

One of those rare occasions when I was glad to have children!!

Well until he told me he wanted me to give him the money back.........

Right, I'm heading over to VP to try and get my cousin a ticket, armed with his client ref. he had a season ticket up until this season and has one game this year as he is away at Uni. Do I have any chance at all?

I've built a little shrine round mine
Talking of shrines, if it can be an omen, not my doing at all, but the main shrine at the London Buddhist Centre this week has flowers dominated by a rather deep red and light blue (along with a lot of those green flowers), and, a single central flower offered in a special ritual last Friday evening is a bit football related, was put there by/for a guy who was on the books of Benfica as a kid.

Am I clutching at straws?

The last time I combined Buddhism with football we got shafted 7-1 by Chelsea.

It was always going to sell out without a problem, just dragged out because of the way the criteria was set to spread the workload at the ticket office. There are many, many more who wanted tickets but didn't fit it in with the criteria set (which was fair in my opinion). Not like when Blues went and even my Villa supporting sons managed to get tickets to go with their friend and his dad.
