But if Lancs do win we can overtake Hampshire whose last game is Notts away

Good point.

Kent just won. Lancs won earlier.

I make it we qualify if we win and at least one of the following happens:

(i] Hampshire lose
(ii) Lancashire lose, tie or no result
(iii) Essex lose and we overturn their large net run rate advantage (pretty unlikely).

Yorkshire have signed David Willey, whilst he could be a great signing he could also be yet another player we lose to England.

Quite possibly....but i think Northants will be losing more players as the richer counties come sniffing around picking the bones of a financially bereft
county in Northants.
They could possibly be the first county to go bankrupt.

Raining at Edgbaston but not before toss had taken place.
Bears have named the same side as Monday and lost the toss and have been put in by Kent when/if play starts.

Notts look like they'll get a good score vs Hants although rain is forecast there for later on.

Apparently 2011 is the deadline for the game to be started. Academic, I know.

Yes.  For the most of the time, sometimes heavily. Expecting it to be called off soon.

In fact:
