A very good day for the Bears. I have been most pleased with Rikki Clarke's recent form with the ball, and Chris Woakes's too, although he has just returned from injury. Patel seems to be able to get wickets in any conditions, and has been exceptional since he arrived.

The rules about bad light seem to be driving sections of our support to madness, and the umpires did not help matters.

The lights were on weren't they.........Well they were @ 3.00pm when I left work

Yes. They were on all day. I am not sure it helps, to be honest.

At Lords, the lights did not come on at all, even thought the light was far worse than today for the first 3 days, but the only interruptions were for rain.

There were that many interruptions today that at 16:45 one or thereabouts i left and went home to watch the conclusion of the golf, it got that frustrating.

It doesn't help that we have two totally inexperienced umpires standing in this game, i think it is both their first championship games.

Another failure from Chopra after the 3rd ball of the morning plays at a wide one and edges to Allenby off Thomas 4

11-1

A sign that Somerset have give up on this game is the fact that the Bears flag is flying solo this morning....Somerset have removed theirs overnight!!!

18-1

Must be a difficult wicket to bat on judging by the low scores.

Not sure about Westwood but Chopra and Trott were just rank bad shots.

In a little fairness to Chopra i think he just wanted to finish the game in double quick time and paid the price 3rd ball of the day....somewhat rash.

46-3 Evans just slapped a couple of 4's

Yorkshire have enforced the follow on up at Scarborough

Bears about to take 22 points from match v Somerset taking us albeit temporarily up to 2nd place in the championship
Evans 32
Hain 10
70-3 1 run required which Evans duly obliges by striking a 4 so Evans finishes on 32

Warwickshire win by 7 wickets.
Other Div 1 scores
Worc 1-0 following on
Notts 570-7 dec Sussex 213 all out i assume Sussex will be following on.
Durham 421 all out Hampshire 159-4
