After Friday nights disappointment it was good to get back on track against the Tykes. It always feels good to get one over them . Like others on here, not quite sure how we have won 5 out of 7 but I'll take it

With McCullem to come its a pretty good place to be in.

McCullum got 18 off 14 balls on his debut, I'm sure better is to come.

Warwickshire 137/8 (20/20 ov)
Lancashire 136/8 (20.0/20 ov)
Warwickshire won by 1 run

Outer limits territory now.

Recordo Gordon hits our only 6 in the innings, and takes 4 wickets for 20 runs.

Well done to the Bears. Excellent from Recordo Gordon. McCullum will be a star for us.

A good win.
I'm still not a huge fan of Gordon though.

Gordon is still very young - learning fast and 4 wickets for only 20 runs in the T20 Format is truly outstanding.

Top of the table and still a negative net run rate.

When Clarke opens the bowling, you know it is going to be a long day. Patel has already placed him, and we have included Poysner. Wright bowling to one slip in the 6th over. Sussex won the toss and are 34 without loss.

I would like to know why we prepare wickets like this. The last time I asked it was related to the test team and Graham Swan and heavy rollers or some such.

Whatever the explanation, it is a fucking disaster. The wiley Brummies stayed away in their droves.
