Good day for the Bears eventually, how Barker must love playing against Durham! As for the Pears, it took some doing to lose against the Black Caps after the position they were in.Needing just fifty five runs with seven wickets left off sixteen overs,to lose the last six wickets for just twenty two runs is almost unbelievable

Bears all out for 450 with Barker getting his ton.

Durham 50-3 at stumps so that leaves us handily placed for the rest of the match.

We took 3 wickets in the morning session, and they have a lead of 35 with 3 wickets remaining. Barker had the ball swinging but he is the only swing bowler on the pitch due to Jones' injury and the resting of Wright. Not much turn for Jeets although we are using 4 close fielders for him.
It was seriously cold aloft on the skyline terrace and I have resorted to watching from the Lounge. Must be getting old.

Clarke has taken 2 quick wickets after lunch so victory is imminent.
