Hales was unbelievable, 7 6s in about 9 balls, took it from a likely win for them to the easiest of canters imaginable, this is a guy that England didn't see fit to built their T20 side around.

Went to Trent Bridge tonight and although disappointed with the defeat, watching Hales go through the gears was some spectacle.  Just when the Bears looked like they might have had a slight chance of getting back into it, Hales decided to take control and ended the contest.

And herein lies the problem. We're too conservative in our approach to just about every format of the game. That needs to change and that probably needs an Aussie in charge as Moores  and Flower, to a lesser degree, seemed insistent on safety first.

Won the toss and are batting, 27=2 off 9 with Chopra and Porterfield gone.

Trotty is in for Hain and Richard Jones in for Wright.

Moved on to 199-3 Trott out for 42. Westwood 82 and Evans on 42. Laurie Evans needs to get some runs under is belt after a largely poor start to this season by his standards.
