What's the weather like up there? Any chance of us winning this?

Bears have declared with a lead of 351, need a bit some quick wickets to have a chance of winning this one though.

Sorry didn't see your post until now! Bears should have declared earlier! Weather dodgy at best!

Rikki Clarke has taken their first wicket
AZ Lees c †McKay b Clarke 21 (48m 54b 4x4 0x6) SR: 38.88

So the opening bowlers Wright and Barker have not taken a single wicket in the match.
Yorks 49/1
Min 54 overs remaining weather permitting.

Still need quick wickets.

Rankin is in his 4th over out of 47 for this innings, after taking 6 wickets in the first innings.

Bears crowding the batter down ofr Patel in a a last desperate attempt to win. Chopra just dropped  a good chance to add to his woes.

Good effort by the Bears to win the match, but as i suspected would be the case, left themselves to much to do. If Barker and Wright who failed to take a wicket between them in the match had supported Patel better we might have won ,who  knows.

I see my beloved Leicestershire are once again failing to bowl out a mediocre batting line up...

It's a bit stupid that Warwick don't have a single day's play over the Bank Holiday weekend. I think the people that organise cricket don't like making money.

And the next County Championship game which is against Worcestershire starts on Saturday instead of the usual Sunday, presumably to allow 2 weekend days for the local derby. That's great, but it clashes with another quite important sporting event in the area.
