Sorry to hijack your thread but I was gonna post similar. Coming on my own, would be good to put a face to the h&ver. Pie and a pint in it for you, not too bothered where in the ground the seat is.

Eamoon, coming from London do you remember my mates from the 70's/8-'s Clive, Dave and Nick?

Was Nick a ginger haired lad with glasses? Clive worked on the railways?

No Dave, the two you are thinking of were both from South London.  The railway lad on one of his first away trips Leicester got ink thrown all over him.  He was a sound lad though.

Clive was a builder, Nick was a pisshead from North London and Dave I cant remember what he did, great darts player though.

Was Nick a tall lad, who I heard had died a couple of years ago? Thinking about it, Lance was the railway bloke and the one with glasses was from Luton. If Dave's the one I was thinking of he was a bit older than the rest. At home games they used to drink in the Davenport's pub up Holloway Head by the brewery.

I'm trying to work out the best ( cheapest) way to get tickets for me and my 2 kids (under 10). I can't go on Kinghting's West London fun bus because we're staying over on Saturday night.

Any suggestions?

I've just tried to buy two for Saturday on a mates ST reference and they wouldn't let me buy them without speaking to him first, even though I had all his details.

I have a ST mate who is happy to get the £10 tkt for me & my dad this Sat, but won't have time to try to get through on the phone in this current rush hour.

Do any ST holders know if you can definitely do the bring a buddy online as this is as much of a favour as i can ask a very busy man?

Also may need to provide my ref # (can't remember if we are linked) what other info is needed to be able to book for me? (is it just # & surname?)

Thanks!
