I hope he's done his homework for school tomorrow. ;D
And Rushian, if you're reading this, good luck to you and make the best of what you've got.

Also, just realised his first name is an anagram of Ian Rush!  Coincidence?
Hope not specially as says below he is a local lad but nevertheless interesting name.

1) Hepburn-Murphy was born in September 1998 – that is after the World Cup in France which shows just how young Villa’s latest talent is!

5) The teenager is a local lad who has come through the ranks at the club
and 1998 that is almost yesterday!

Fair play for having the young lads on the bench for experience, I did however think it was a little indulgence of TS to bring him on.
At 4-0 up with less than 10 to go a deserved indulgence!

4-0 up with 10 minutes to go, he can bring himself on if he likes.

Was he brought on so TS could prove the point that he would give youth a chance? Playing up to the media a little?

It looks way too early for RHM to me and he has no record in the reserves either

Or was it to send a message to every kid in the academy? We've had managers who rarely gave kids a chance. We now have someone with a record of bringing kids through, who was brought in partly for that reason and found himself in the perfect opportunity to illustrate intent so does so. I really don't see the point of trying to turn a positive into a negative.

Got no problem at all with one of the 7 subs being a youngster, great experience for them.

Only at the Villa could we try and find negatives about giving a 16 year old 10 minutes in a game we were strolling to victory in.

and there is no mention of him or any coverage on MOTD :( Let hope it will encourage football parents/child to think about Aston Villa when it is time to choose club for him to learn his trade.

As TS said, we're absolutely down to bare bones right now. That's why RHM was on the bench. He was picked over other kids we have so he must have caught the eye. It'll be a great experience for him and we were in a good position to bring him on for his debut. There can't be any negative about it.

Spoke to a mate who supports Preston NE yesterday who went to the MK Dons match (I live near MK) said that Daniel Johnson who we sold them was fantastic best player my miles on the pitch,
Lots of MK Dons fans like carruthers as well, including my daughters boyfriend who is a ST holder there

It's interesting to see good young players coming out of Villa, not all will make it in the prem,
But still go on to have good careers elsewhere, just hope we don't let a top quality one slip through are fingers

I always liked the look of Johnson, particularly from the pre-season last season. Perhaps were he still here under Sherwood, he may have had a chance.
