When Rushian Hepburn-Murphy stepped on to the Stadium of Light pitch in the 83rd minute of today's four nil victory, he became our second youngest ever player to wear the shirt. The 16 year old's seven odd minute debut cameo, saw him usurp Gareth Barry as the second youngest to wear the shirt as he made his debut at the tender age of 17 years and 67 days old, but the record is still held by a Jimmy Brown who debuted at 15 years and 349 days old.He is however the youngest to grace the pitch since the inception of the Premier League.
At the age of 16 years and 176 days, he is the second youngest player in the club's history.
At 16 isn't he too young to be wearing a shirt with a gaming company's logo splashed across the front? ;-)

Should the ref have asked for it to be covered up due to his age? Like when Watford turned up at Villa Park with the sponsors on for a TV game. On a more serious note it is good he was involved. Sends out a positive message to the young players at the club and keeps the old guard on their toes at the same time.

If you go and buy a replica shirt in the smallest junior size does it still have logos if they betting or alcohol related? Is there any ruling ? Do some clubs have a policy of not including them while others carry on ?
Fair play for having the young lads on the bench for experience, I did however think it was a little indulgence of TS to bring him on.
