Superb football and great to see that we can play football, three of the sky pundits went 0-0 and the big nosed cock went 1-0 to them, the same twats who said it was not Lambert's fault. Hope they now recognise the twat held us back so much, he made some decent signings IMO but his tactcs were totally shite and if his team talks were like his interviews, it is shocking we got so many goals this season with him in charge

I'm amazed you waste your valuable time wathing these complete twats on Sky on a Saturday afternoon. They almost make Micky Quinn, that thickest of scousers, look intelligent. I shouldn't imagine based on when I used to have Sky, that numpties like Charlie Nicholas even know the name of any of our players

Just walked through the door after driving like an eejit from VP so I can glorify in it all over again on MoTD.

A great day and a brilliant result.

Time for a beer!

UTV!

Great win against the Albion and glad you enjoyed it, Frank but it's about time you invested in some GPS. I hear it's all the rage.

Who's going to tell him about today's result?
About time you realised where the club coaches drop the fans who go to away games!

UTV!
Over to you SoV.

Ha! Got me right there, Frank. I thought we were losing you for a while. I trust the beer tasted good.
Cheers SoV!

You had me thinking I was pretty lost too for a bit!

The beer was very sweet indeed!
:D
UTV!

Got back in the house around 12.30am, thanks to having a very pleasant hour and a half at Bramley Working Mens Club in Rotherham.

Fantastic result. The difference for me is seeing players run off the ball and passing it forwards rather than standing still and passing sideways. It looks a totally different side.  Bacuna was superb in the first half and Gabby played like we know he can. No-one really had a bad game though. Let's hope we can keep it up.

That's the big difference for me to,
they are looking to go forward all the time, it's not a massive technical difference it's just a mindset or an positive attitude but it makes us so much better

There have been times when I have seen Man United come to Villa Park and they've pushed into us so much that their full backs end up looking like 3rd and 4th wingers and I have wished to see us take a game like that to somebody. That's what the first half was like. Bacuna and N'Zogbia could have been arrested for murdering Sunderland.

Just brilliant.

Bang on Ads!
Didn't realise what a great game Bacuna had when watching it at SoL...on MoTD he looked amazing - in the 3 minutes coverage they gave us!
That's N'Zogbia's best game for us imho.
It's as if we've signed a new player!

My son actually said when we going to watch villa , the first time since they bored him 1 2 against Newcastle .
It had been punishment for the poor lad.

Its great to feel like this again about villa.

We've got to keep it going though JP.

Still a long way to go and Burnley winning (and the stripeys) were the only things that left a tiny cloud in my claret and blue sky yesterday.

The second goal summed it up for me.
Okore had the ball deep in our half and was facing Guzan. 4 weeks ago he would have passed that back to Guzan.
Instead, he turned, knocked it to Clark, who sent a ball over the top for Gabby to smash home.
No way on gods earth would we have looked to be that positive under TSMII.

Yep. There is no chance a Lambert side would score 4 against Sunderland.
Yes quite. OK we did well against a poorly motivated team but there are some ridiculous comments here about Lambert.

I think the point isn't that Lambert didn't do it, it's that one of his Villa sides this season wouldn't be able to. Lambert went from being every bit as adventurous as Sherwood to a reincarnation of McLeish.

A bit annoyed Burnley won. We still need to do plenty of work.

Sensible comment in amongst the celebrations. We are still only 3 pts above the bottom 3 - but at least there are 3 teams below us who have a lot more to worry about than us on current form.
