What the hell is going on? I thought I supported Aston Villa not some "scorey" team.

I'd still like another couple of goals before I feel it's safe though.  At the end of day we're still Villa.

From Chris Sutton...

"Sunderland are like a pub team. It's like a pub team coming out in the second-half without a player who is having a fag in the car park."

We managed four at M'Boro about ten years ago. 5-0 vs Leicester must be our biggest PL away win? I remember 8 at Wycombe in the League Cup.....

I was at that Wycombe game and I remember the team getting booed off at half time as we were losing.

This score line really illustrates the differences between Lambert and Sherwood as managers.

No it doesn't. Lamberts Villa best the same team 6-1 in much the same fashion. Sherwood has made a big difference of late but the rather pointless comparisons don't make much sense
Yes it does! We'd only scored 12 goals and had games without a shot on target. That 6-1 was a while back now and the form since had been woeful.
Tim deserves credit for this.

I'm giving him credit. It's beautiful. But using this game as another reason to hammer Lambert just feels silly. Let's look forward and move on and stop harking back

We will have created today more chances in one game than in all the games combined prior to Sherwood's arrival. Truly astonishing.

So far it's been like watching Barcelona destroy some La Liga no hopers.
