I must have had a bit of Stockholm Syndrome with Lambert because I was a sympathiser.  Call me Patty Hearst cos I now see the error of my ways...

Fantastic to see us really going for it. Sunderland look like they've got nine men.

Our forwards are running absolute riot

Delph and Cleverley keeping control in midfield even though they're outnumbered

lovely stuff. fucking lovely stuff.

That was amazing....we all ( apart from me ) moaned at Benteke....give him service and he will score, buckets full. Gabby is playing like he loves the club now and Tom is surprising us all...

Thank you Tim

But boy do Sunderland look like they're managed by Lambert right now.

I almost feel bad for Sunderland fans cause its usually been us on end beatings like this year after year...so you know that feeling of anger and despair so well by now.

This score line really illustrates the differences between Lambert and Sherwood as managers.

Sunderland are a decent club, with decent support, so I have a pang of guilt... only a pang mind.

Amazing!

UTV

Same here. I wish them well but someone was due a firm spanking.

Well, this is doing the goal difference a bit of good, isn't it!

An 8 goal turn-around in 45 minutes, bloody wonderful stuff.

The way the same group of players have played since Sherwood came in just goes to show how really poor Lambert was
Absolutely. I never, ever bought into the constant stream of excuses from Lambert himself, Faulkner and Lerner, and many Lambert apologists. We've got quality here, but we've not used it.
The difference in some of these players has been astonishing. Zogbia looks a hell of a lot more confident now.

God knows what Sherwood will say at half time. Probably tell them to get their fingers out!

I think this categorically proves Lambert was the problem.

Just fitted my wife a new washing machine - just saw it when 3-0 and now it's 4. I'm in a spin.
