This is payback

What a fucking first half. Everyone breath and let's hope 5 or 6 by the end!

That's as close as a perfect 45 minutes you'll ever see.

Sunderland are a decent club, with decent support, so I have a pang of guilt... only a pang mind.

Amazing!

Bacuna again, Hutton will do well to get back in the side on this evidence.

4-0 and it could easily have been 6.

Whats clear from today with the players we have, we should be easily in top half.

Is there a single Sunderland player that would make our side?

Yesssss! I'm bloody loving this! After so few goals this season, I'm going mental for everyone one of them. I saw an interview where Sherwood made them take down a 6-1 momentum off the Villa bosses office wall... Wonder if he'll put up a new one tomorrow?

Great half that, more of the same second half please.

Honestly so many other teams have taken wins and goals for granted, here we are celebrating 4-0 at half time. Its wonderful. In the 7-1 vs Wimbledon it was four at half time.......

Haha, was away tidying up my boy's train set and we get another.

Great euphemism.

The way the same group of players have played since Sherwood came in just goes to show how really poor Lambert was

Fantastic display. This is the Benteke of 2 years ago. The Gabby of 6 years ago.
Zogbia has been brilliant. Sinclair is good again. Delph has been imperious. Cleverley is a player who 4 weeks ago I wouldn't have gone near, but now I think should be signed up ASAP. Bacuna has been exceptional since his needless booking. He's absolutely ripping their fullback apart and this is how you play Bacuna effectively as a fullback.

Sunderland fans must really hate Benteke.
