For those of us watching on the telly:

Semi Final Piss Up Bingo

Sip of beer for the following words used in commentary:

Shankly
Birthday
LA Galaxy

Large measure of Scotch for the following:

That foul on Grealish was totally uncalled for.
Any mentions of Villa without the prefix 'plucky'.

Absolutely wankered 5 days before kick-off with those rules

I hadn't realised the final takes place on the birthday of the sainted Stevie G, good job they've got a bye to the final. There won't be a dry eye in the country.

Why is Steven Gerrard's dream of playing in the Final , when he has already played in and won FA Cup Finals and got other medals in his cabinet (although one less League Championship medal than Sid), more important than, say, the dream of Jack Grealish or Leandro Bacuna, for whom this might be the only shot at it that they ever get?

It's all a bit ridiculous really isn't it?

Because it's all part of the "Saint" Stevie G, Liverpool are the nation's favourite bollux, bullshit and blather served up by the media who struggle to deliver on anything of value for any club outside of the Sky Darlings!
When we beat them in the semi about half of the dross-spouting media workforce will be out of a job! With Saint Stevie gone there'll be nothing left worth gushing about!

like it or not even with all the Gerrard birthday bollocks, anyone interested in football who doesn't support Liverpool or Blues will be supporting Villa on that day

we will be carrying the hopes of 98% of the nation on our backs

I hope that the pre match entertainment will be representative of the class, culture and stature of each club.

I think performances by Nigel Kennedy and Sonia should do the trick.

Come on guys every football fan in the country wants an Arsenal vs Liverpool final and for Stevie to lift the FA Cup in a final moment of glory. How dare we consider spoiling that.

Paul Ince unsurprisingly talking bollocks on da beeb...

Paul Ince is hoping his old club Liverpool will win the FA Cup in former team-mate Steven Gerrard's final match for the club on his birthday, 30 May. There will still be a sense of regret though.

"It would be nice for Steven Gerrard to finish at Liverpool by winning something," Ince said on BBC Match of the Day.

"But I wish it had been the Premier League. Someone of his greatness(???) should have won the Premier League."

Fuck Steven Gerrard. Ending his cup run would be sweet revenge for...well, I'm not exactly sure, but I don't like him and I don't like the media fawning.

I'll start first.

how about his assault on George Boateng at Klanfield in a famous  3-1 win circa 2000 ?
