Cheer up Stevie G,
 oh what can it mean,
To a sad scouser bastard,
And his, broken dream.

I know this might be a bit of an old one now, but I'm just listening to the Beatles and it reminded me they are one of only 3 good things to come out Liverpool;

The other 2 being Wayne Rooney (open to opinion) and The M62!

Liverpool airport has been shut for the past 8 hours due to a "Suspicious car".

Apparently it had tax and insurance and the radio was still in it.

Liverpool. It seems not so long ago they were a top 4 side, now they're in there with the 'also rans'. They're still struggling to come to terms with the truth the rest of the country have long accepted. If it wasn't for the number of former players that appear on TV we'd probably forget they even exist.

File under 'Nothing to Fear even though we're not in the best of shape'.

What's the difference between a cow and a tragedy?

A Scouser wouldn't know how to milk a cow.

Are you saying there are no Scousers working as Consultants?

OK everyone expected Liverpool to get rid of Blackburn on their way to coronate King Stevie. Now their full expectation is that they will smack us in a jiffy and go on and meet Arsenal.
Well let's show them it's not that easy. COME ON VILLA....

In the run up to this match, if you look closely, and with skillfull use of the pause button on your TV remote, you may - with patience - see that there is actually ANOTHER team due to play that day besides "Stevie Me"s beloved Liverpool.

For those of us watching on the telly:

Semi Final Piss Up Bingo

Sip of beer for the following words used in commentary:

Shankly
Birthday
LA Galaxy

Large measure of Scotch for the following:

That foul on Grealish was totally uncalled for.
Any mentions of Villa without the prefix 'plucky'.
