Are you sure that the 5+ games have to be home games?

No I'm not sure, in fact I'd guess it's one of three pieces of wrong info my dad has been given on the phone today, I'm not trusting what they are saying at all. I'm 4 away 1 home and will take the criteria as advertised!

It feels like I'm spreading misinformation, but  am just passing on what they are (I think wrongly) saying. I've told my dad I'm sure we'll be fine and include away.

My mate was told the same thing on the phone the other day. The 5+ games in 2014/15 MUST be home games, League or Cup obviously. But that away games do not count, he wasn't best pleased as he trekked up to Newcastle and back but somebody who went to Blackpool or Bournemouth for a tenner takes priority..

I've e-mailed someone who will give me a definitive answer, stand by your beds. There's 6 of us with about 12 home and aways each hoping you're wrong.

From a commercial sense, I’d be surprised if away games count as they don’t drive revenue for Villa. Tesco don’t give me clubcard points for shopping at Sainsburys

I know that’s not a perfect comparison but that’s the logic behind it if that’s the rule.

It was the away games - performances and support - that kept Villa up for the last 2 seasons.

If it's being done on a purely commercial basis, why give preference to fans who've paid for cheap tickets to see us play Blackpool in the cup ahead of those who've played £40+ for League games against the Sky elite?

On Sunday 19 April Aston Villa take on either Liverpool or Blackburn Rovers at 3pm on BT Sport 1.

Villa have won the FA Cup on seven occasions and played in the very last final at old Wembley in 2000 when they were beaten 1-0 by Chelsea.

because of the wording on the website and the fact that the ticket office staff suggested that aways might count
