The point about West Brom and Blues having away games in London on Saturday does make me think that our match will be on the Sunday.

But this has been the case since the draw was made surely?

its irrelevant.  The three games are many, many miles apart, and the combined away support at the other two games will be no more than one or two thousand people in a seething metropolis of how many millions?

I'm assuming that this is based on the trains there & back rather than in the smoke.

Honestly convinced our game will be prime time Sunday early evening BBC viewing so Lawro and his mates can whip the nation into a StevieG knock one out session prior to another moving episode of Poldark.

It could be an amazing couple of evenings. Tuesday we demo QPR, Wednesday the bin dippers bins are emptied.

I could have got my ticket today but am perfectly happy to wait till Monday, when the family are eligible. I'm sure we'll get decent seats. What does annoy me is the inability of the FA and TV companies to fix the date. We know that Bradford, plucky underdogs, are out and that the Gooners won't be in the CL a few days after the semi. What else do they need to know?

They are waiting because Liverpool are the biggest TV viewing ratings puller. They don't want to be lumbered with Villa v Blackburn if the Scousers get knocked out.

Surely they can't wait until after the replay before announcing the dates? That would give everyone 10 days notice.

I've got the missus trying to book mine online. However, the plan's just showing huge swathes of red, with a bit of green that's not where I want.
Can anyone enlighten me?

This is modern football gone mad. Selling tickets for a game you don't have a date for against as yet unknown opposition. I have to go to Spain for work but could conceivably take a break in the middle to nip back if the game is on Sunday but not if it's Saturday. By the time they get round to announcing a day and a time I'll probably be too late to get a ticket. Don't they ever think about these things? Don't bother - I know the answer.
