Massively jealous of you boys and girls going down to Wembley. Will need to find some Blackburn supporters to watch the game with. Friendly banter is always good.
Have a skinfull, get a flag and a can of beer and scale a lampost bare chested and sit atop of said lampost waving  flag and drinking from can.

thanks for the suggestions chaps. Certainly will combine getting wrecked, new Villa full back and chest tattoos, celebrating wildly a top a lamp post, before taking an eternity to drive home, finally getting arrested. I'll try and fit in a fight and being on the receiving end of some causal racism too to complete the experience.
Its incredible I've seen it the last 3 times I've been to Wembley (2 Villa, 1 Huddersfield), Outside the Greyhound pub there is always someone on top of the lampost.  I can't climb a lampost when sober let alone when pissed holding flags and beer.

This could yet be a fantastic season for us.

PL survival.
FA Cup winners for the 8th time.
European football confirmed for next season.

How great would that be?

Well, if I'm being picky, Ill just take the first 2. It's harder to get out of the Europa League than to get into it

According to Talkshite Arsenal have been given 32'000 for their semi final so cant see us been given anymore than that.

That's about right, if Blackburn beat Liverpool we may get more

I haven't got a season ticket this year for the first time in 15 years, but I've still been to 9 home games so should have no worries with Wembley tickets. As our semi-final allocation is higher than our average attendance anyone who's attended games this year should have no problems. Wouldn't be surprised if the semi final tickets went on general sale.

I'm not sure I agree with your logic. You are assuming its the same people turning up every match. If we have 20k ST each match and, say average 30k each game we have 10k non ST for those games. Unless its exactly the same 10k the number of attendees is more than the average. I think it will be more difficult for tickets than you expect.

Guzan has been speaking about the semi final and says he wont push the Given position. Personally I think sentiment should play no part, I'd stick Guzan in now.

That's the Given who's made crucial saves at crucial times in the last two rounds to help us get through?

Guzan is better than Given. For talk of being harsh on Given, Guzan missed out on both our Wembley trips last time having played a large part in our progress to that point.

Also, with the switch to the one-game-no-replay format, there is a decent chance we might need to win a penalty shoot-out to go through and I'd be far more confident of Brad stopping them than Shay.

I would stick with Given myself.  His recent form has been good and he has plenty of big match experience which Guzan doesn't.  But of course I could understand the decision if Brad did get the nod.

Another reason I am hoping for us to get Blackburn is that we SHOULD get extra tickets and I will have a better chance of getting in.

The tie could go to penalties, guzan doesn't get nowhere near them any more.

Given has been brilliant in the cup games  and the way he conducted himself when he was managed by that tit lambert.

Given for me .

I'd keep Given. Brad will get his chance in the CL final in two years.
