Cant see us being on the Saturday.

Blues and baggies are playing in london on the same day.  Easier for us to play on the sunday instead of moving them pair

Why would they have to be moved? It has been known for us and them to be in the same city before with no problems.

When was the last time we scored a goal in an FA Cup semi final?

We hadn't had a home Quarter Final since 1960 and that record has bitten the dust, and this one will be next!

BELIEVE.

After having had the evening and morning to ruminate on the draw I think it's all good.  We are very much dark horses with a whole load of players who are hungry and genuinely far better than the league table suggests.   Blackburn are clearly no pushovers, whilst L'pool fans seem to think they are in the Final already which means Rodgers' (unproven and inexperienced in the main) side will have a good bit of self-induced pressure on their shoulders.  Bradford and Reading, again, will be hungry and up for it which leaves Arsenal.  As far as I can tell, they have made a tactical switch to their game plan recently which means they are now a counter-attacking side.   This is all well and good if you play into their hands, but, get the tactics  right, they tend to self-implode into an angst-ridden clueless mess.   They always seem to be one game away from crisis.

Six weeks is a long time in football and who knows what will happen in terms of form, player injuries and so on.  We are currently sitting right in the middle of the pack, no pressure on and enjoying the ride.  I enjoy reading and hearing others write us off and talk us down because these are the conditions where we seem to perform best.

Plus London is a rather big city as I understand it.

We've played at home on the same night as SHA.  That won't even come into consideration.

I think the obvious thing to look at wouldn't be problems in London, it'd be problems in the getting to London bit.

Mind you, I doubt Blues will be taking more than about 300 whoever they play down there, so it should be ok.

I imagine 300 of these going down the M40 would cause a bit of a delay

Liverpool fan at work told mee this morning, without any hint of irony, that he had told his kids last night that he reckons they'd struggle to get tickets for the final.

I agreed and told him that without an extensive booking history at the Villa, he probably wouldn't get one.

He's from Wigan by the way. Plastic Dipper.

Chelsea v Man U is on Sat 18th at 5.30. Could mean that the Saturday Semi kicks off at lunchtime?
