We have to wait until after the Bkackburn/Liverpool replay, so they can ask Stevie which day he prefers.

Someone reassure me that is will be the Sat. Its my daughters christening on the Sunday

It's a shame but you'll just have to miss it. Some things in life are more important.

I'm sure your daughter will understand when she grows up.

I think it just comes down to who picks which match. The BBC will pick first and (I think) get the Saturday slot. BT will pick second and have the Sunday.

My concern for your situation is that the BBC might take a confirmed Arsenal over a probable Liverpool for the Saturday game.

The BBC have us down to play QPR on the Monday after the semi final. That can't be right surely?

That fixture is now due to be moved, to the last week of the season I believe.

QPR then Burnley at home.  If we're not mathematically safe by then, I will be shitting myself that week.

For once, just once, can we play a full strength team in the semi?

I think the beeb will go for the Arsenal game because of the underdog element too. Bradford (should they get through) have provided plenty of entertainment in this tournament.

I think they will go for us. Mainly because they have been snubbing Bradford the whole tournament and I just assume they will continue to do so,

Don't worry.  Only godparents and the Vicar need to be there.

Think Uber's daughter needs to be there too.
Unless he's taking her to the game!

Given our recent record against them we should ask For the tie to be played at Anfield and get Lambert to manage us as a one off.

Y'know if Lambert was still in charge that would be probably the only game we'd have left I'd be confident of winning under him. We'd probably beat Liverpool to reach the FA cup final and yet be nearly relegated at that point.

If there was one team Lambert somehow nearly always got his tactics spot on time and again it was Liverpool. The three away performances up there under him were probably our three best tactical performances under him, especially that diamond masterclass in the middle of last season when Liverpool barely crossed the halfway line in the first half such was our dominance.

I'd imagine Sherwood will be watching plenty of videos of those games in the run up to the Cup semi if we do indeed play Liverpool. What's clear is we do have the personnel in our team to give them a very tough 90 minutes just as long as we believe.

Read elsewhere that apparently that weekend SHA and WBA are playing in London on the Saturday? If that's the case it's pretty nailed on we're the Sunday game.

Oh I'd love to see a Bradford Villa final. It would be amazingly sweet to see both Liverpool and Arsenal fall in the Semi's when each will feel they've virtually got a free pass to the final.
