It will depend on any punishment the FA give us after yesterday. I still don't think us being kicked out or the game being replayed behind closed doors can be ruled out. Judging by some of the bizarre decisions they make, plus the media will likely put pressure on them to throw the book at us, who knows?

I think I'm entering a parallel universe.

There is more chance of Ellis buying out Lerner than the game being replayed.

I probably said it on VT last night but look back to when SHA beat us in 2010 and invaded the pitch in which unsavoury incidents then occured.

I think they were fined 20k and warned as to their future conduct so there's your guide.

We are looking at a fine of about £50.000 and a warning

The odds are still massively against us as long as one of Manure and Arsenal are still in the competition, but it's nice to get to the semi's and hopefully the final.

Indeed.

Absolute nonsense. I can't believe anyone really believes that?

Lets face it. Other teams just don't like us enjoying ourselves, in our own Astonian way.

Fuck them I say.

It would be better for us if United win that because they're not what they once were.

I have a feeling that after tomorrow, we will be the only club through to the semis.

For once I would actually fancy playing Utd. Under Sherwood I don't think we'd show them too much respect and just roll over and get our bellies tickled as we predominently did under the last couple of managers.
Their form is patchy and the defence is ropey. I think we could give a fucking good game to Utd.
That said I'd rather play them in the final. I'm still hoping for revenge against Bradford in the semi.

The magic of the FA Cup is alive again. We have a great competition devalued by greed to finish in the top 4 and get your share of the champions league cash pot or get your way in to the Premier League and earn it's riches.

Scenes like yesterday can only be created by the cup competitions, do or die knockouts, it's special. The FA should be doing all they can to glam it up and make it important again. I'd start by stripping 4th of a Champions League spot and giving it to the FA Cup winners.

This season has been shite so the cup games have been respite for us haven't they and I don't think theres a set of fans in the country right now who want this Cup more than we do.

Bradford semi to exorcise some demons, followed by a United final. Phil Dowd can stay the fuck away from it though!! So can Mike Dean for that matter.
