Watch the Albion player on the left. Can't work out who it is. I know another trips someone up but the the bloke on the left is very confrontational.

Wearing no 19 so I think that's McManaman.

No wonder I didn't recognise him. I wouldn't have a clue what that no mark looks like.

If that would have been a fan to the player (McManaman) the press and OB would be all over it, and he'd be charged by now. Wasn't McManaman complaining that somebody kicked or pushed him or something?

So one trips someone up before running off the pitch. Another tries to boot someone before body checking someone else and, still, it is us celebrating on the pitch that are akin to the Dublin riot in 1995? On a day that Wolves kicked a Watford fan into a coma? Fuck me.

I had to look it up from the match reports.

Given the impact he had on the game, they'd have been better off getting Steve McManaman out of retirement.

It was either him or Morrison.

Odious toads the pair of them.

Watch carefully for the young lad wearing the blue fleecey top.  One Albion player deliberately trips him up as he's run past, and then as the lad has just got back on his feet another Albion player comes from the side and tries to body check him back to the ground.

Morrison's the one on the right who trips up the kid running past him.

To be honest, I don't really blame them too much for what they did. We know that everyone was running onto the pitch to do nothing more than celebrate, but if you're a West Brom player and you're watching hundreds of pissed-up Villa fans seemingly running straight towards you, you're bound to be a bit on edge and have your hackles raised.

Yes. If I was on edge because hundreds of pissed-up Small Heath fans were seemingly running towards me, I'd start tripping them up and body-checking them. It's the sensible thing to do.

My thought, exactly. It strikes me as the absolute last thing I'd be doing.

The trip was quite funny I must admit. But the deliberate body checking was the actions of a prick. And just omagine what would have happened if someone had landed one on him, which he fully deserved.

But then they'd smell.

In an earlier post I mentioned that a Sunday rag ran a sub-heading "MacManaman struck by Villa fan" then in the body of the report Pulis says none of his players were struck.

In that little vid MacManaman and Morrison both go out of their way to have a go at Villa fans running on the pitch...and the fans do not react aggressively. Says a lot does that!
I hope that's picked up by the FA as well as the terrible fact that hundreds of Villa ran on to the pitch causing no harm at all and celebrating a win in the FA's very own cup competition!

Just read McNulty's article...mountains/molehills.
What a twat!
