Did anyone glimpse a half and half scarf, I thought I caught one but the suspect escaped before I saw properly?

I'm begining to think we're the only club in the whole world who's fans have invaded the pitch.

Maybe we are, at least in recent times.  I can't think of the last time there was any more than the odd nutter on the pitch before the final whistle.  Certainly not the numbers there were yesterday.

It's a loss of control, and that's not going to go down well.

F**k control.
When The Villa score I'm very happy to lose control...done it very few times this season but I can understand the fans yesterday losing it for a few minutes and jigging across the pitch because we'd beaten a local rival who's been telling us for years that they're better than us (and believing it!) and being pretty much backed up by local and national media.
The twats who invaded the pitch before the end I've got to put down to naivity...they don't know any better...largely kids with no concept of consequences. Absolutely fuc*ing stupid...while expressing a massive sense of loyalty and support for their team. The twats!!!
Make mistake, realise mistake, learn from it, move on....
There will be an FA fine. I hope they take circumstances into consideration and consider other factors like some wanker's decision to put the game on at 5.30 on a Saturday...5 days after the two local rivals had played each other in a hotly contested league game!

Main consideration seems to have been for TV audiences...fuck the local fans...let's stoke the fire...then sit back and watch it blaze!!!
Then criticize the locals for warming their hands by it.
BBC etc.
Twats!

Tired now.
Bed time!

To answer my own question, it must have been the West Ham / Millwall "outbreak of football mars orchestrated violence" match in 2009.  Much worse of course.

Delph's biting suspect revealed...
Brilliant!

Errr...so what was Louis Suarez doing wearing a Villa shirt this weekend? Is he a secret Villa fan?

If we are considering an appeal against Jack's dismissal, a tape of the tackles made by the Hull players against him should suffice as evidence as to why he might be predisposed to taking evasive action.

There is no drunk thread so here will do. A few beers in so excuse.

You know what? We actually played really well in that second half. I am starting to believe.

On my way into work last Monday I thought win the Albion league game or at worst get a draw and it would have been a good week no matter what happens in the quarter final due to the horror run weve been on but to win league and cup games against our true historical rivals is brilliant, on my way to work today with a spring in my step to greet my one eyed Albion colleagues,  cant wait to see them  :)

Forgot to say that Clark was my MOTM again, what a change in fortune for the lad and seems to really have matured into a good centre half
He's been superb to be honest. I rate him higher than Cahill.

As consistent as Hutton has been, Clark is my player of the season so far. He was immense in both games, only blot was diving in and not getting there just before Berhino played Idaye through and Given came out brilliantly.
Agreed, my hope now is Baker and Clark can really nail those positions down, I like Okore but he seems error prone, I hope he irons that out too.

Okore is a much better player than Baker.
Jury's out

I like Baker, and he was my choice to play alongside Vlaar, but, I cannot argue with the pairing of Clark and Okore.
They're big buddies off the pitch and it shows. They complement each other so well.
Yes, there have been 'moments, but this partnership is still in it's infancy and will only get stronger.
I cannot see beyond these two as Villa's central defensive pairing for several years, now.

Clark is certainly my PotS so far, too.

I also think that Okore is essential because of his pace too. He's made some errors but I thought he was excellent in the second half last night. He will iron those creases out over the next year. This is still only his first season at this level.

Baker has done well this season, but I'd still be hesitant to trust him as a number one. Particularly now that Clark looks a lot more aerially dominant than he has in previous years.

I find it a disgrace. A bloody disgrace. How can we seriously expect this to continue? I pay my taxes, my electricity bills, and can afford life's little luxuries such as owning a laptop. Yet this site, this so-called top Villa fans forum, openly allows those on benefits to post amongst us. We should have been told beforehand.

SHOCKED AND SADDENED OF CROYDON.

On the Guardian site there was a long discussion about the pitch invasions and there was a lot less sanctimony than there is on this thread. The majority of the neutral posters were praising the atmosphere and saying how Villa had injected some much needed passion into the FA Cup. The comment from the Man City fan is absolutely spot on.

"A match with real atmosphere at long last"

"Wonderful emotional exuberance ... Pity about the BBC coverage. Mark Lawrenson is such a miserable old git."

"The pitch invasion was fantastic to see in today's over sanitised game. Real passion from real fans."

"Fantastic scenes at the end. Real jubilation, its what the corporate game hates."

"As a long, long time Man City fan I can completely sympathise with the Villa fans. Absolute brilliant show of support and emotion. Everything that football is about. Yes, a few hundred goaded the West Brom fans with taunts of '2-0' but Jonathan Pearce really will have to explain how it was a throwback to the bad old days.
In fact, the BBC coverage made me laugh with dramatic statements of how bad the crowd were as the camera showed a bunch of fantastic 8 year olds in their team colours and scarves posing victoriously on the sideline so their Dad could take a photo.
The BBC have been trying to say how the cup still means something and yet when a set of fans finally show what it really does mean they get all sanctimonious. Good on you Villa fans and great to see Sinclair get a brilliantly taken goal. Now see off Manyoo in the semis."

"When the game started I had absolutely no interest but when I flicked back for the last 15 mins I marvelled in the brilliant and passionate atmosphere. Brilliant support by the Villa fans. Even Gary L. had to change his tune when he saw that the vast majority were just enjoying the moment. Get a grip and go and watch tennis or something."
