If you're gonna run onto the pitch at least do it with style! The amount of people on there who looked like village idiots was frightening,  and some of you need to get on a diet! Get some shame!

Anyway conspiracy theory number one coming up. What's to bet that Villa wont get another FA Cup home draw for a good few seasons?

Great atmosphere in the ground yesterday though. There's no place like Villa Park when it's rocking!

I'd have taken Pulis over Lambert. But i'd also have taken a dead squirrel over Lambert. And the day Pulis became Villa manager a part of me would have died. The baseball cap wearing twat nozzle.

I never intend to stop Pulis bashing. Pulis is there to be bashed.

Quite right. The man who dashes from his mothers death bed to milk applaus and then condone Pennant diving to win the match is a dick. His comments yesterday were to take the attention from losing 4 1 at Villa park this week, despite Vlaar missing both and Benteke not there yesterday.

Yes the "I'd take (insert living, dead or inanimate object here) over Lambert" is a no contest argument. The thought after the dust had cleared that it is Pulis wearing a baseball cap in the dugout for the next 2-3 years is quite miserable.

Okay, but just answer my points though as no one seems to be doing that?  Why?  Is it the style of play?  Is it that you think he comes off as smug?  I don't want to knock Sherwood as I think he deserves a chance to prove himself and of course he's had a pretty good start lol. But regardless of styles of play Pulis with the squad we have would have kept us up easy and I'd bet on him to move us forward next season with a bit of money to spend that is.  Sherwood still has that to prove IMO.

The amount of people posting pics of themselves on the pitch last night on social media...incredible.
If you are going to break the law, don't be fucking stupid enough to advertise the evidence.

If that is the limit of your expectations for the club, and you are happy with survival combined with an eye bleeding style of football then Pulis is your man.

Even if he was our manager?  I like the guy myself.  I think we should start Sherwood bashing now that would be far more radical!

Even the bitters don't, my mates girl is a season ticket holder she said against Southampton they scored after 2 minutes they were time wasting after 4 minutes she said, dour dour football

Like most have said it is pretty small time running on the pitch before the end of the match, but then the self proclaimed biggest club in the world did it here back 2002.

No surprise that the media are blowing things out proportion. It's their job to lie.

What are you on about? People will gladly bash Pulis because he is a dinosaur. 180 minutes of football just confirmed that. He is also the Albion manager and a twat. Why stick up for him?

Indeed. I'd hate to see someone like him get our job. Take a look at westbrom.com and see what Albion fans think of him, too.

Horrible football, gamesmanship, time wasting. No ta.

Just because you think Pulis would do well doesn't make it something you can pass of as fact and dismiss people who disagree.

Over 180 minutes this last few days it was the side playing the football that won.

So? We have taken a gamble on Sherwood! Theres a chance he might not even get us that.  I am almost certain that about 95% on here would not being knocking Pulis if he was our manager now and we were safe in mid-table.  In fact back in November/Dec most people on here seemed to be happy with the idea of getting him as a manager.

Read westbrom.com with the Simon Bates 'Our Tune' music in the background. I have amused myself doing this this morning.

Brian's post is excellent and I agree with every word.
The worse is yet to come for most of us, when we return to work tomorrow and face the moral indignation of people who have never stepped foot inside a football ground and know nothing about football, but will will be telling us how outraged they were/are.
Yet, they won't really know if the mean the first invasion or the one after the final whistle.

I'd just ham it up a little.  Say you witnessed rabid football fans eating a baby, or summat like that.

The Brains Trust of Pearce and Lawro had gone so OTT with their condemnation of the twats who got onto the pitch prior to the final whistle that they couldn't then be seen to do a volte face with the invasion at the end. Had this game not been on the Beeb we really wouldn't be hearing so much nonsense. Pearce wants to do some research. It was news to me that Olsson has been a Villa player for eight years. And that Villa and Olbiyun are both London clubs. As for Lawro, I can only assume he has compromising pictures of the director general of the Beeb. How else is he stealing a living on national TV.  Still, at least we didn't need to see him sprawled out on the couch yesterday. Like a cake that has been left out in the rain.  Or a sex tourist.

Throw the book at the bellends who could have ruined it for us whilst the game was still in progress, but my concern is the club will take a heavy handed approach with those who made it on to the pitch at the end -which, as others have pointed out, is not such a rare occurrence when we make it to Wembley.

Technically, it is an offence for fans to be on the pitch full stop.  There isn't a clause that excuses it for moments of high drama or making it to cup semis or finals.
