The 6,000 mile journey was worth it. Great to see the old place rocking; there's life in the old girl yet.

I hope the kid I saw with blood pouring from his head after that lot decided to throw their seating on our supporters is ok.

It's great to get to the final but the end was ruined. Why invade the pitch at all? No opportunity to celebrate with the players after the game like Tuesday night because of idiots running on the pitch so they can take selfies.

I left the game on Tuesday night bouncing. I left the game tonight feeling like it was a bit of an anti climax

Careful you've only got a semi
A bit premature there. Edited

Benjamin Zephaniah was in the lower Holte tonight. My nephew got a photo with him, the jammy bollocks.

From around 54 seconds in.

Anyone see the guy with a dildo on his head at 94:50?

Urgh. He was sitting a few rows in front of us.

I'd take a hundred pitch invasions over that sort of forced wackiness.

He's bald and has a pink dildo including balls sticking vertically from his head.

I didn't go today, so someone else had my seat in the L Holte, so I'm just wondering how many of those that went on the pitch before the game ended
were regulars/st holders.
My guess is that very few were and that the majority were once in a while opportunists.

Final whistle there would have been loads of ST holders and regulars on the pitch.

As I watched it from Holte after the final whistle, I have to say that I don't think I've ever seen as many people involved in a pitch invasion before.

Wonderful night, slightly marred by the few village idiots.

On that clip the collective intake of breath before going mental is something else.

Seemed about the same as Inter, Tranmere, Blackburn and Arsenal to me.

Just relieved to get home in one piece.  Whoever thought playing this game on a Saturday night was wise needs dragging over the coals.  I've only once been in fear of my own safety at a game before, and that was the first game with Blues at the sty.

I notice we've released a statement condemning the pitch invasion.  I trust West Brom will be doing the same for the utter tossers who were raining things down on us in the North Stand, and also the ones at Witton station.  The pitch invasion was wrong, but for Lawro to compare it to the 1980s is way over the top given the moronic behaviour of the Albion lot.

Great night and I even think we will stay up.  Second half we looked like a probing and an attacking team.     As to the fans who went on the pitch too early ..... Get over yourselves and chill. Nobody died.  Fed up of the 'over outrage society ' we now seem to live in.

Yep, the most random thing I've seen since the Chelsea fan brushing his teeth midway through the first half of a game .

The years might have altered the memory of those particular ones and it might have just been the view from the Holte, but it looked absolutely rammed on there.
