As me and RedSox walked down towards Witton Island I said it was going off as you just know if you've seen it before. We decided not to go through to get t the chippy and headed up Witton Lane to a burger van. Not long after the police marched a decent sized group of Villa up Witton Lane towards the Holte. Which included the bloke Sox mentioned earlier with the cut head. The bloke was saying the police did it.

One noticeable thing were the amount of people stood around drinking. Some had shit loads of cans with them and can't remember ever seeing so many empties dumped on WL.

An element of 'lads' as well as a lot of pissed up blokes on both sides were out today.

I think a lot of albion fans were embarrassed at what happened to myself and my daughter tonight. But like you say in a father of the bride speech I have total respect for her not backing down. I wonder if on the strippey filth message boards tonight they will be celebrating how a 54 year old villa fan with a 17 year old girl stood toe to toe with a fair few of their complete arseholes. I don't think even the noses would stoop that low.

But they didn't, did they? they mentioned Villa fans on the pitch AND seeing seats being thrown. There was no mention who was doing the throwing and it sounded like it was us.

I didn't go today, so someone else had my seat in the L Holte, so I'm just wondering how many of those that went on the pitch before the game ended
were regulars/st holders.
My guess is that very few were and that the majority were once in a while opportunists.

It's great to get to the semi final but the end was ruined. Why invade the pitch at all? No opportunity to celebrate with the players after the game like Tuesday night because of idiots running on the pitch so they can take selfies.
