How much are SF tickets likely to be ? £60 ?

Ticket prices for the 2014/15 FA Cup Semi-Final are £33, £43, £53 and £63.

Thanks, not as bad as I feared.

Calmed down now. What a fantastic week - beat Boggies twice, semi finals of the FA Cup, teams around us losing, playing decent football and actually scoring goals! A manager who seems to have tactical nous, changes performances with half-time team talks, uses subs well and at the right times. It feels like I'm getting my Villa back, and I've already placed a bulk order for humble pie from M&S - not just ordinary humble pie - for my initial reservations about Sherwood. We're not out of the woods yet but at least we can start to look forwards with more optimism.

As for today's game - the classic game of two halves. Poor and a bit flat in the first half (and if they'd not missed that open goal early on it would all have been very different) but really vibrant in the second.

GK: Given could rightly feel aggrieved if he was dropped for the semi final, and tbh with Guzan's form not that good lately it's great to have a keeper who could easily claim the first choice spot.
Defence: Clark was yet again sound at the heart of our defence, Okore did well but always has a mistake not far off. Lowton and Bacuna did reasonably well playing out of position but Lowton in particular made a number of unforced errors. With Clark only a yellow card away from a 2 match ban, we need to get Cissokho,Vlaar, Senderos and Baker back asap as well as Hutton after his ban - we didn't have a single defender to put on the bench today
Midfield: Thought Cleverley had one of his best games for us, especially in the first half - put in a really energetic shift. Westwood for me is still in Lambert mode - always looks to pass sideways and  backwards even when he has 30 yards to run in to. And why he takes set pieces is beyond me. Captain Delph - has been the player I hoped he could be in both games this week. MOTM well deserved
Attack: Really worried when I heard Benteke was out but Gabby stepped up to the plate as he always does against our near neighbours - he just needs to do it for other games. Thought Sinclair had difficulty getting into the game in the first half but was brilliant in the second. And as someone else said earlier, I'm not sure who the good footballer was who was wearing N'Zogbia's shirt

Subs: Sanchez look more solid; Jack looked lively and was unfairly sent off - why would he dive if he'd just put the ball past the defender? Might change my mind after the highlights later; Gil didn't have much time to show anything

Great second half, great atmosphere, great result. Shame about the morons who invaded the pitch before the end - could have been costly

Scott Sinclair...excellent in the second half.  Even the right Charlie looked half bothered.

What's this talk of Leeds? Don't remember sf s there
1980 replay (West Ham / Everton) - first one I remember.  Then 1995 (Everton / Spurs).

Hardly a bastion of semis then

From the official site:

The club does not condone supporters invading the field of play under any circumstances.

We are very disappointed that what should have been a very memorable and proud moment for our fans was marred by the actions of those who could not control themselves.

They have let both themselves and their club down.

The club extends its sincere apologies to the Football Association, the West Bromwich Albion directors, manager Tony Pulis and all his staff and players.

Not enough stewards and those there were were not properly deployed.   I am not making excuses for the brain dead morons who invaded the pitch but if you have a 5.30 kick off to suit the TV schedules you are going to have idiots on the piss all day and behave like total wankers.

Correct. I wish it were otherwise.

Upon hearing the announcement that Benteke was out injured I thought "oh bugger" then remembered the start to the season when he was not playing. The first half was frustrating as midfield seemed to have a lot of possession in our half (too deep) going sideways/backwards but we couldn't go forwards as only Gabby was upfront. Second half we were pushing up further and looked a hell of a lot better. Two very well taken goals by Delph and Sinclair.
The first sending off looked harsh and the second Grealish booking had me stumped from my position in K2 upper Holte as Grealish clearly poked the ball beyond Lescott and got taken off balance. Ref got that one massively wrong.

The pitch invasion during play was bloody stupid and the crowd voiced their opinion of the feckwits for all to hear.

The pitch invasion after the final whistle was purely an outpouring of relief/celebration (apart from the chumps swinging on the crossbar) after years of frustration. I know it was a bit small time as we have only got to the semi-final but hey we have got to wembley.

It was great to hear Villa Park rocking again and the crowd were fantastic for the second half.
I expected more from West Brom to be honest and to the baggie (pork scratching seller and no I wasn't buying any) who engaged me outside the ground beforehand "YOW WON'T BOIT US TWOICE IN AY WOIK" ............. oh really  8)
