At the end of the match is fine, with the game still being played is idiotic and they should be found and banned.

It might be hard to collar so many at the end of the game, but the ones who came on early will be much easier to identify. Won't be so funny for some of them in the morning.

Just got back and my ears are still buzzing from the noise, just an awesome day apart from a few idiots on the pitch near the end and the Albion fans ripping up seats in the North Stand and throwing them down on the Villa fans when the second went in.

I'd say seat throwing is a darn sight more dangerous than running on the pitch

Singing under the Holte before going up and singing for another 90 minutes and watching us turn over the bitter bastards from down the road again. Now we can forget them for another 9 months while they seethe in their pit of jealousy.

Got to meet Kingthing from the forum and marvel at his dedication to drinking after learning he was in the Albion side of the Witton Arms as the Villa side was full - then WW3 broke out - nothing to do with him obviously.

Call that a pitch invasion - pah!

The Villa fans running on the pitch before the end should be banned for 5 years (although personally i have no problem with it once the final whistle has gone. If true about the Olbiyun throwing chairs they should be up in court for potential jail time. Somewhere between attempted murder and GBH.

Plenty of over the top reaction regarding the pitch invasions. I did it when I was a kid so I'm not going to start slating kids that do it now. The football supporting experience they get nowadays is so sanitised and restricted let's not make this into something other than an explosion of joy, a bit of liberation if you like. If it happened every week or every time we score then fair enough we sort it - but it doesn't.

As for the seat throwing - then the police with the help of all the expensive surveillance tools at their disposal need to find the culprits and deal with them. That's what they're there for. What was it, a handful of people out of 40,000?

Onto the football. Fantastic again - well done to everyone involved at Villa for their efforts this week and the pride and happiness they've given us. Long may Mr Sherwood continue to prove my own over-the-top reaction against his appointment wrong... he has surprised and delighted me this week with his tactical choices.

Far be it from me to intrude on this love-in but Wembley is a neutral ground.  But I'm with you, Villa Park & Elland Road or Hillsborough or Old Trafford.  Just like in days of yore.

Amazing . the QF was never such a big deal till they had to fund the shocking new Wembley stadium therefore screwing the former venues . and taking the special out of your Wembley trip.

We have been fed on scraps for years and to be honest its like vanquishing the demons of O'Neils paper empire.

5.30 game against local rivals and a Wembley trip equals high emotion    ....  So before we judge remember the background and responsibility .

Unfortunately I witnessed in person every time our ineptitude or luck left us short from Man U and West Ham in the 70s and Arsenal . Oldham and others when we failed .
The outpouring of relief when we beat Forest to get to the Semis was amazing
 People on cars on the way home .  total carnage.

Yes the bids on the pitch were daft . but Football is for the people and we are all different in how we react.
