Crowd were up for it, yet we've completely killed any kind of anticipation.

On the plus side:  We're still level.

It's by no means unusual for us to turn in a decent 45 mins and a dismal one in the same game.  Let's make the next 45 mins the decent part, for a change.

On page 28 of the programme, there is a bloke in the crowd that looks like the Witchfinder general...then I realised he's dressed as a Villain.

I wouldn't make the change immediately. Hopefully he gets into the players and gets them fired up. If not we have options on the bench to change this up.

I would. I'd stick one of Grealish or Gil on in the hope they create something.

Jonathan Pearce is pissing me off. Poorly-informed and drivelling.
to repeat - he is a knob!

Couldn't disagree more, I think he is excellent and clearly has a very soft spot for us
Same here.  Good commentator and someone who acknowledges that football didn't start in 1992.

He's dropped a few clangers tonight, mind.

Firstly telling us how Albion were done out of at least a point that they deserved the other night, that they're in their away kit tonight, mentioned Olsson having not played much for Villa this season.

Ever since he had that "OMG! ITS CHANGED ITS MIND!!!!" moment in the World Cup, I've been unable to take him seriously.

It is basically his Carson Croatia moment for me.
Two words: Clive.  Tyldesley.

That first half was woeful and, as it's the hope that kills, I can't help feeling that a West Brom goal would at least put us out of our misery.

Fucking boo, Villa.

West Brom looked less of a threat as the half progressed, but I expect more from our lads.

We look delicate and puny. Unacceptable.

Big improvement needed

Just  managed to find the only (?) place showing this live with Korean  commentary. COME on VILLA.

To be honest, olaf, you'll probably have a better night if you def it off and go and find yourself a dog restaurant.

and then find someone to stroke your bone. Just make sure it is a she and not a..you know...
Yes That is  a problem sometimes!

It's a tough one. Grealish or gil the obvious contenders

But what we really need is more directness and intent. And that might point to wiemann joining gabby up top

Problwn is its wiemann

The way we're playing right now, if Albion score I can't see us getting back into it. Pullis will declare a lockdown and that will be it.

We need to go at them from the first minute. They're there for the taking. Pullis will probably settle for a replay right now and he probably will get his wish.

I liked when he referred to the match as "a big London derby". I think he's terrible.

I'd give it until 55. Those players can't be that bad again. Surely?

I think we all know the answer to that.
