Will this be sold out? I know the Holte is, haven't heard anything about the other stands.
Witton End sold out as well.
Seats still available in Trinity and Witton Lane.

Only around 100 left in the upper Witton Lane and a good amount in the upper Trinity. Everywhere else is sold out.

Should 40,000 to 41,000 on the gate.

Any updates on the Benteke situation? Was it just false rumours on FB?

No idea mate.

Gonna see if my betting luck continues today.
Delph to score first, 2-1 Villa. 105 to 1. 10 pound down.
Fingers crossed.

I think Delphy is due a goal. Again, if we win I think it'll be tight and we won't keep a clean sheet. I think that's worth a punt at 105-1 (Sky Bet).

Take nothing for granted today boys. Cheer the lads on with all your hearts. Beat these bastards and hopefully we can get a decent SF draw. But let's get there first.

I still think it is a toss-up today - we could easily lose it by a daft goal like they did on Tuesday
Getting very excited now!

I'm regretting not getting a ticket now. I've been butterfly-nervous all day even though I know that - frankly - Tuesday was a more significant game.
I really, really want us to put the Bitters to the sword today: their whining and whingeing since Tuesday has been tedious and amusing in equal measure - it's time for the sleeping lion to rise and cast it's enormous shadow over the Second City.
We've had 4-5 years of shit: it is right that we should re-emerge as an English force. Today offers us the chance to do just that, in front of a virtual sell-out and for all those TV viewers who have been moaning that the BBC chose the wrong game for its 5.30pm kick-off.
So, Villa fans: raise your voices long and loud.
And, to the players: feel the growing groundswell of emotion and passion; go vanquish the Smethwick Bitters whence they came.

DESTINY IS OURS.

From the OS - our Olly will be happy :)

Focused Sherwood: Rest players for the FA Cup? No chance!

Tim Sherwood produced an icy stare in the midst of the euphoria of the win over the Baggies on Tuesday as he was asked whether resting players for the return of Albion this weekend was in his mind.

"No chance" came his reply as he spoke of his desire to see off WBA again - despite the quick turnaround of matches - and ensure a trip to Wembley in the FA Cup.

On the eve of the top-flight clash, he had said: "We're focusing on Tuesday and then we're looking 100% on Saturday. We want to make it to the semi-final, win that and win the Cup."

His outlook hadn't changed as he addressed the media following the top-flight derby victory over the weekend opponents.

Asked whether he would rest players, he said: "No chance! It's the quarter-final of the FA Cup.

"It's a massive club. There's absolutely no chance of that.

"This win gives the club a huge lift. Now we want to get to Wembley.

"We want to be in the semi-final of the Cup.

"The Cup game is now the most important one for us as it's the next one - and we want to get to Wembley."

He'll do for me.

Doesn't sound like TS could "do without the cup".
