We just need to repeat our gameplan. Get into them and attack quickly. I think we've got the upper hand. I'm hoping to see Benteke closer to his old self too. The relief after that goal for him, and indeed everyone associated with the club was plain to see. That could do him the world of good. If he's on fire saturday, we'll stuff them.

I've got 40-1 on a 2-0 win with Benteke as the first scorer, I think Benteke and Gabby will boss them again.

Baggies fans seem to be worried Lescott hasn't got the legs to play two games in a week. If that's the case, you could be on to a nice little earner there, Paul_e.

I'm expecting it to be a tougher game than Tuesday night. Albion were pants for most of the game and I don't see them being that poor again. Saying that, an early Villa goal and they'll collapse.

I'm definitely warming to our manager.

He certainly talks a good game, I'll give him that.

he does, but if you look at what he's done in just a couple of weeks then he needs to be commended on not only making us more confident, but evidently better with each game. At some point, and each to their own on this, but we have to start giving him a bit of credit for the team playing better and for certain players upping their performance levels. For all the talk of Pulis before Tuesday night and the job he's done, we should have really battered them by 3 or 4. A lot of that is down to the manager in how he has the front two playing and how compact he made the midfield all night. That and I like so far the staff he has put together. He came here with a plan and has quickly assembled his team with the minimum of fuss. Compare and contrast to a significantly more experienced manager like Lambert and what a mess that was behind the scenes for all but around 9 months of his time at the club.

The confidence thing was always his area of strength, but what he did with the formation on Tuesday was what caught my eye. It was bold and kind of mad, but it certainly worked very well.

Any man on this planet who finds a way to make N'Zogbia look half way decent should receive the highest praise!

We're looking very light on defenders.

Tony Pullis is quoted as saying (in the E&S tonight) blah blah and then "We go again".

Is Vlaar going to be fit? Senderos?.....how can a calf injury keep him out for 4 months? A complete mystery; I thought he was back in training.

I prefer 'We go again' to words such as 'project' and 'narrative' which are creeping into 'BPL' terminology.

if Delph is supported by Cleveley again on saturday, then im sorry but were going to have to cough up for a trip down london way, cuz imo thats where the game was won tuesday, ably supported by our new number 11, Lowton, Hutton, Westwood, and a nice little cameo from the G boy.

Oh yes and our own London Boy , "The Sheriff"

I was surprised how slow Lescott now looks - he ran a bit like a carthorse. We need to target him; I see Darren Fletcher is cup- tied, which will weaken their midfield.
