All domestic cards count as the same thing, whatever competition they're collected in.

I think Sherwood understands the importance of momentum, a win on Saturday takes us to Wembley and beats our local rivals twice in a week giving the club a huge boost going into a very important Sunderland game next week.

Can't see much changing, if Richardson or Cissoko are back then I'd have thought one of them will start at left back with Lowton swapping over to the right back. However, I'd rather he put Bacuna in at right back and changed as little as possible. Though Insomnia looked threatening and can be utilised. If Albion play a high line again Gabby will destroy them

No doubts that Albion will set up totally different though and be a lot more attacking. Okore has to start confidentially.

Wouldn't put Vlaar back in the side, doesn't look like his hearts in it for me. Certainly would like to keep Delph as captain.

It's pretty much a game of poker.

Do WBA attack us, knowing they are vulnerable on the counter attack? Do they do they play the same way as last night, knowing the referee may not be as forgiving?

I liked that our bench last night had replacements in Grealish, Gil, Sinclair and Weimann, that could replace the attackers on the pitch and keep the pressure and tempo up.

1-0 Villa. Pulis concentrates on points and I suspect he played his front two last night knowing they might not be able to play the cup game too.

Which worked out well.

One result I don't want is a draw. In view of our April fixtures, feel we may need to win our next 2 matches and don't want to go into the Swansea game, having played 120 mins of football a couple of evenings earlier.

The players did get through a lot of work last night, so I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two rested. Potentially Gabby and one of Delph / Clev with Sanchez and either Sinclair/Weimann/Gil coming in.

Otherwise I think it'll be Given for Guzan (with WBA doing likewise with Boaz Myhill), Vlaar for Okore (Vlaar still has a big part to play in the run-in) and I think he'll opt for Bacuna at right-back. Unless McMananaman is available for them they have very little width in the side, so I think he'll be looking for both full-backs to attack.

I don't think we can afford to rest Delph. Gabby has to play in derbies. It's the law.

Genuinely, we can't rest him and Clark, but especially Gabby. I've always though it's vitally important to have players on the pitch who understand what the derby means to the fans, and we've seen for years now how motivated Gabby gets for them.

Bacuna  would be my choice to fill in for hutton

Hopefully we will at least one fit left back so Lowton can switch to the right. I like Bacuna, but not at right back.
Tis what I was thinking too.
Sherwood did say that Cissokho would not be ready for Tuesday...perhaps he will be for Saturday.
I'd keep Bacuna on the bench and use him later.
